A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Haiku
Push back the big glass
Door. Slide through and pad down the
Slope to the Garden
So many scents greet
My palate long before I
Disappear inside
The tiny petals
Brush softly over my fur
It's almost Heaven!
Sniffing. Then tasting
The lush, sweet nectar is a
Treat fit for a King!
My Human says that
The flowers match my eyes. So
This Garden is Mine!
The bugs understand
They can taste other flowers
And not bother me
How can such beauty
Spring from from a few tiny seeds?
It must be Magic!
So many sweet tastes
In my nose and mouth. I won't
Have room for Dinner!

Had a good but tiring day, GeeBee.
Went shopping for some summer activity stuff for Marissa and a wading pool for Millie and LouieMax. Of course, Marissa tested it first. :)
I had planned to get here earlier today but by the time I had finished some chores, hubby was ready to leave. :(
Seems that something always disrupts my plans. :)
I've been waiting around for a Maggie update. :)

We are both fine. Trying to get something organized for summer. Bought new drawing pads, marking pens and play doh today.
I'm hoping Marissa can take swim lessons this summer.
