Live Election Returns (vote.ss.ca.gov/index.html) ^

Posted on 06/06/2006 7:45:05 AM PDT by CounterCounterCulture

Welcome to the live thread for the California Primary Election. Polls are open until 8pm tonight. If you are a registered voter, it is your duty to vote and defend your rights and civil liberties, protect your pocketbook, and vote the bums out where applicable.

Feel free to discuss issues key to your local area that others may be interested in. Post your polling place experiences if you like. And post numbers as they come in later tonight.

Bilbray is ahead 49.7 to 44.9 with 68% of the precincts reporting. That is a win for sure. Oh, that is going to leave a mark on Democrats tomorrow.

Are you saying that if Bilbray does not get 50% of the vote there has to be a runoff?

Thank You Jim. Bush can smile tonight with the Bilbray win. About time we had some good news.

And yes, glad to see Arnold and McC working together.

I don't think the national dems. should get out the party hats yet for Nov. especially after the Bilbray win.
and BTW in the suburb area of San Diego, Chula Vista,
a city of 250,000 nearer the border and a democrat area,
a republican won as mayor. :-)
