Nice catch samantha, but MSM will close it's eye if it comes to dems.
Hmmm..I may just have to watch MTP later.
Thanks for the show updates.
"Companies that hire illegals would be fined $20,000 and repeat offenders would draw prison terms.
Illegals would have to pay fine of at least $3,250, continue working and learn English."
How can anyone reconcile the "...continue working..." in the second line with the first sentence?
Frist is coming out on the side of the FBI, vis-a-vis the warrant and William Jefferson, Democrat, Louisiana.
Abosolutely right Morgan, he reveals in it.
As I have said many times yes I believe up to a point he really believes in what he says about the WOT but there is also the great element that it gave him the world stage he would not have had without it.
If it had not been that it would have been something else he craves recognition and attention he is the complete opposite of GWB in this regard.

We figure that's why Vincente Fox was here this past week. He's leaving office and probably looking for work in the US someplace.
And yes, Blair will follow in the footsteps of all the others who get on the lecture circuit here. It pays well and they get to remain on an international stage instead of going back to what they were doing before taking office.
Hagel says we are at full employment and we have more new jobs that we have ever had. He does not tie this comment to any point.
Hagel: Of course you fix the border first. 1986 was amnesty. This isn't amnesty. We have an opportunity to restructure and do it right.
Russert: When the president addressed the nation, you said he doesn't get it.
Sensennbrenner: This failed miserably 20 years ago and this is a repeat of 20 years ago. Former AG Meese wrote an op ed piece Wednesday that at least President Reagan was honest and called it amnesty. What the Senate is doing invites document fraud. Meese said there was huge document fraud and the same construct is in the senate bill.
Provision in Senate bill that officials can't investigatgte beyond the piece of paper the illegal relies on and government employee is subject to criminal investigation if the try to look foruther into the document.
Also talks about the SS raid on the fund and rewarding the illegal immigrant and rewarding them for the time they were here illegally and dipping into the SS fund.
Russert: Don't illegals contribute over $400B into the SS fund.
Sensenbreenner: The illegals can't get numbers on their own. The entire transaction was fraud and the senate bill retroactively awards that fraud.
Hagel: The senate bill puts into place a biometric identification card and every illegal must have one and they can't get a job without it. IT's tamper proof and fraud resistent. We're at full employment today. We have more jobs today than ever in the history of the country. Our bill deals with these temporary worker visas - low and high skill.
Europe and France specifically did some things wrong and perpetuated a lower class. That's a problem the Europeans have today. You can't perpetuate that lower class.
Does he ever make sense?
EXACTLY Chris! Flag-burning and gay marriage are NOT what Congress should be wasting their time on in June 2006.
I didn't know this: Frist is not running for the Senate again.
Twelve years after the Contract with America brought Republicans into the Majority in the House of Representatives, we are witnessing a power struggle within our huge (unrecognized by MSM) party. This is actually a sign of health and strength, although painful to experience. As Rush said so eloquently on Friday, the country club Republicans have never liked the Christian conservative Republicans. In the past our coalition was necessary because we were the minority, working to unseat the Dem majority. Now that we are the uncontested majority, the struggle for power is going on inside the party.
I have saved my (fundraising) letter from Christie Whitman "It's My Party , Too" to remind me of this division. McCain was part of her group.
Them too!
The Clinton White House was out of control with corruption and these jerks are trying to lay blame on President Bush? Proof the best defense is a good offense.
Frist sounds so foolish right now. He is trying to focus on a bunch of other issues to deflect the outrage over the immigration thing. At this point, the Senate could pass a bill exempting KerryUsama04 from Federal taxation for life and I would still be ticked of at them. I am sure this holds true for many FReepers.
I believe it's three years. And, they get to choose the years!
