We figure that's why Vincente Fox was here this past week. He's leaving office and probably looking for work in the US someplace.

And yes, Blair will follow in the footsteps of all the others who get on the lecture circuit here. It pays well and they get to remain on an international stage instead of going back to what they were doing before taking office.

I feel he may well remain as a MP for a while after he leaves the office of PM as they will guarantee him media time in the UK.

After a while though I suspect he will spend more time of lecture circuit in the US.

Eventually I can see him in the Lords though following the traditional route of ex PMs. I think he will love to have a title one day.

Slimy Brian Mulrooney, Conservative Party, who was the Prime Minister of Canada did a farewell lap around the US, too. Next time his name was in the papers he was a big name at Archer Daniels Midland.
