The body odor will make this place smell like a French café.

Can't the city just take this land by eminent domain and put up some condos for the...ah... "working-class immigrants from Central America"? Heh, heh, heh. ;-)

Folk singer Joan Baez and tree-sitter Julia "Butterfly" Hill...

Both of them are certified barking moonbats.

Heres hoping the idiots fall out of their trees.

Hill said she was protesting now because Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has pledged support for the farmers but has not come through yet.

Gasp! A politician seeing higher taxable income for a property suddenly goes back on his 'word'? I hope this isn't the beginning of a trend!

Only in California do they grow their nuts in trees.

about 350 families, most of them working-class immigrants from Central America

...And just what does this mean from the author? Have we started to go from illegal aliens, to immigrants, to working-class?

"Two door-sized platforms have been placed in the tree for the sitters, and a support group has set up an encampment on the ground."

How DARE they nail a platform to a tree! Didn't they hear it crying as they drove dozens of spikes into it's "Treesoul?" What ghouls!

If they REALLY cared about trees and nature, they'd leave the tree EXACTLY as they found it, and just hang upside down off a limb for a few weeks. They've probably already scared off a few squirrels and stuff from their HOMES, too! They're Eeeeeeeevil! Eeeeeeeeeevil, I say!

I'm turning them in! Oh, that's right. We're all accountable to THEM, they're accountable to NO ONE. *Rolleyes*
