Please be in prayer for our LadyX. She will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning(5/24/06). Any of you who know LadyX, know that she has been a member of our FR Family for a long time and is very much loved and respected. She has inspired us, made us laugh, given us some of the wisest of advice, wowed us with tales of her life in the Marines, and shared her childhood memories of an idealic time. Some will recall the sailing of the Mobius, or the time on the tropical island. We have shared many adventures. Now, it's time to let her know how much she is loved.
Post your prayers, encouragements, jokes, pictures or memories, so she will have them to read when she gets back home.
Joining in prayer.
Thanks for the update and pings.
Fervent prayers here for the Lady and Mr. X.
May God grant wisdom and guidance to those attending her health needs, and bless Lady X's response to treatment. May He strengthen her, and her loved ones - mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually - in just the ways and times that are most needed for each of them.
We acknowledge that nothing is too difficult for you! We ask in the Name of the Savior that You restore Maggie's appetite and relieve her of the pain she is experiencing in her hip. Help her to be patient with each step of her recovery, for we confess that You have healed her. Grant Your wisdom to all her care-givers, Lord, and let each do the work directed by the Spirit as she makes her way back to good health. Blessed is Your Mighty Name and awesome are Your Mighty Works. We exalt You in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
More prayers on the way.
Very disappointing. Prayers for LadyX to quickly regain her strength so she can return home.
Continuing prayers sent for recovery.
One (ramped up) Prayer...On The Way
Fawnn, Mr.X said that the box with her shirt arrived today. He will take it to her tomorrow morning. He said that if she is alert enough to know what's happening he will open it for her, but if she is still drugged he will just take it back home until she is well enough to enjoy it. I pray she will be alert tomorrow morning.
More prayers from here as well.
I spoke with Dad this afternoon. He tells me that Mom is coming home on Monday and that there will be 24 hour nursing care available. She was to have gone to rehab, but shes too weak. She cant go to a nursing home because they dont accept dialysis patients. Im not sure where the in home nursing care is coming from, but I think it would be very necessary since Moms too weak to provide care for herself and Dad (now admits) cant do it himself.
I understand she is also scheduled to have a hemodialysis shunt installed in her neck (this weekend I guess?). Dad was very uncertain about the details. There is now a dialysis unit available in Barnewell, thank God.
Dad is in contact with my cousin (Moms sisters daughter) in another part of SC who is involved in social work and understands the business. She is trying to help them as well.
Thats about as much as I know at this point. They have a tough road ahead of them, thats for certain. I know they both feel the uplifting of prayer thank you!
More prayers are in order for this great, sweet lady. She has been through so much, Lord; please give her comfort and let her be better so she can be at peace and at home with her beloved family. Thank you Lord, for providing nursing care for her. Give them the healing touch that she needs at this time.
Thanks for the updates, Nan.
