An apology to America from a Bush voter
I am a Bush voter. Ive supported Bush since the start of his term. However, I feel as though I need to apologize for his policies.
Im sorry for those of you who thought you were screwed over during the 2000 election. We should have made more efforts to count only the Democratic-leaning counties of Florida to ensure who really won the state of Florida.
I am also sorry for the events that happened on 9/11. Bush shouldnt have looked in a state of shock while hearing the news about the plane hitting the towers, for political leaders should show no emotion.
Im sorry he led us to war in Afghanistan instead of apologizing to the Muslim Radicals. We all know war solves nothing and kills a lot of people. Just ask all those poor people that lost their lives in Dresden, South Korea, Kuwait City and Kosovo. If it wasnt for war, they would be alive.
Im sorry that he led us into another war against a tricky dictator that was famous for leading inspectors into wild goose chases during WMD inspections. We all know that the dictator doesnt have any WMDs. After all, we gave him a 4 month warning, so Im sure he got rid of his WMDs in time. Or maybe he didnt have any in the first place, and all of his equipment for making chemical weapons was for show.
Im also sorry for his tax cuts. Without tax cuts, wed be able to spread the wealth around better. The Rich, being people of ample money, can afford to give their money away. Its not like its doing anything anyways. All theyll do with that money is spend it at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Radio Shack, in turn, the bosses at Bed, Bath And Beyond and Radio Shack will just use the money to get more employees and try to get richer. That is typical voodoo economics.
I am also sorry that our president cant forecast hurricanes properly. Hes the head of government. He should be the first to speak to NOAA about the latest weather predictions. I am also sorry that he couldnt evacuate all of New Orleans time, saving all of those lives. He should have packed everybody on school busses. He should have informed the country about the concept of federalism before the Hurricane hit.
Im also sorry that he cannot control illegal immigration. He should go over to Mexico and demand that Mexico abandon their neo-serfdom economic system, where 27 rich white families and make their economic system more democratic. That way, a young Mexican would feel as though they have a future in Mexico and have no need to come to America, thereby eliminating illegal immigration to a trickle.
I am also sorry that he cant export all of the Mexicans that illegally crossed back to Mexico. Exporting 12 million people to a country that clearly says they dont want them back wouldnt be too much for our president. Its not like were stuck with them.
And I am finally sorry for voting in a white Christian Republican, because we all know that White Christian Republicans are the most racist people on earth. He could do nothing right.
America, I am very sorry. Sincerely, a Bush voter, A.L. Lucas
P.S. I am not sorry for all the social spending hes done, because we all know that throwing money to people is the best thing a government can do. Im also not sorry about his inviting of illegal aliens to come across the border by encouraging them to be day laborers. We need as many new Americans as possible, especially those that show how our archaic system of immigration control simply is outdated.
Given the way he's being treated, he just might be sorry he's our President as well.
Very well done!
I almost hit the abuse button before I read the whole thing. Nice rant!
Many of have said that we do not always agree with the President - when that happens, it is our duty to respectfully tell him WHY we think he should change his mind.
Good Job
I'm sorry that no liberal Democrat has EVER convinced me that George Bush lied and that there were no WMDs in Iraq.
LOL!
Good work!
I don't think I've seen any professed conservative Republican voter on FR say he/she would have preferred Algore of or John F'ing Kerry, in 2000 and 2004, respectively, despite some conservativre hopes having been dashed by President Bush.
I used spell check but it didn't work for some words. Has anyone had the same experience?
Only the 'true' conservatives prefer Gore or Kerry.
> I am finally sorry for voting in a white Christian Republican
Ew. That had to be uncomfortable.
You'll have to explain that one.
Agreed!
Also, while Bush can't alter Mexico, he can alter our response to it.
I'm just waiting for the day when Mexico, the nation, not private enterprise, makes a business out of allowing citizens worldwide to come to Mexico to get into the U.S. To anyone that thinks it can't happen, I have to LOL.
Not really. I'm a black irreligious conservative. I can really care less about race or religion.
"I used spell check but it didn't work for some words."
coem agian?
The genie's already out of the lamp.
Excellent. Had me going there for a split second.
Come to think of it, I guess I must be sorry too. : D
Very clever....
Oh I get it, elect Algore or Kerry to teach Rinos a lesson.
