Blackfive already has a good start on this and Protein Wisdom is all over it as well, but any help Freepers can give in outing this wannabe would be much appreciated.
I run into that a lot. People start telling "war stories" and I tell them I did 22 years in the Army. They change the subject real quick. I have no problem with people who do not go into the military. The military is not for everyone. I just have a problem with those who claim they were in and use it for some kind of advantage or gain credibility. Lots of callers to talk radio lately are claiming to be veterans. After two or three minutes of listening to them, I can tell the closet they ever got to the military and combat was at the theater. I love the way they all say they were "recon ranger snipers." Reminds me of Eddie Murphy in Trading Places. LOL!
Bump
But I DID sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night... LOL (salute)
Well for one thing his uniforms are way out of date, and he's got his sleeves rolled up the way a Marine would, not Army.

He claims the CAB (awarded twice) and the CIB. The CAB is for soldiers in support MOS/units, CIB is for Infantry. He is a complete fraud-can he be prosecuted-I hope so.
People that create such shams should seek help.
Like I said, too many things wrong for me to list. Some of the commenters on other threads have pointed out long lists of problems with this guy's story and appearance. Lefties are credulous saps so long as some POS supports their position.
ROFL.
Dollars to donuts he lives off-shore...Germany, maybe?
Unless I missed a location in the video.
Hmmm.
If that guy is a Ranger I'm the reincarnation of Eddie Rickenbacker.
Just his stutter would disqualify him. Just imagine calling for fire support.
He is going to school at Arizona State, I think.
Yep and his ribbons don't include any theater awards or even the GWOT expeditionary medal. He's not a convincing fake, but lefites don't care as long as he is carrying their water.
I saw that he was supposedly at a protest in Tempe but no real indication of his residency.
I tried to acces that link. I had to play with it some so that the ASU Web Devil opened. It's a "register for access" e-zine.
Is there a BugMeNot for this pub?
Another thought is that it was filmed off-shore by that Dharji (sp?) goofball - a non US pubisher.
CW3, AVN Retired. (If I was still in, they couldn't call me "chief" anymore. It's now politically incorrect.)
In addition to the Beret being worn the wrong way, Rangers DO NOT roll their sleeves, and even if they did, they way that guy has them rolled is the way the Marines and Navy roll their sleeves.
This guy is a total Fraud.
One of the sites I listed had a link to the ASU paper so I figured he was a student (also there is something about him being involved in a coffee house protest, which sounds typical of college students). Hopefully he will be outed soon. Remember that Pat Tillman went to ASU, so I hope that if he is a student the administration takes a dim view of his behavior.
Well, he claims that he took part in the assault on Fallujah:
What was the assault on Fallujah like?Fallujah is where we slaughtered people in mosques. We provoked the people there. Some people escaped from the mosques and saw us. We would dig holes and leave mass graves of children, women, and old men. We were ordered to let people die on the street. We were told that the Geneva Convention means nothing to us in combat.
We were ordered to fire on peaceful protesters in Fallujah. Somebody threw a rock at us, and an officer said that he thought it was a grenade. Then we were ordered to fire. When it's daylight in Iraq, it's daylight! Nobody really thought it was a grenade.
The first battle for Fallujah got underway in the beginning of April, 2004, only to be cut short by a ceasefire around April 11, 2004.
Yet on April 12, 2004, he was in Arizona protesting Coffee Plantation.
