North American Union to Replace USA? ("is this the plan?" alert!)
HumanEventsOnline.com ^ | 5/19/2006 | Jerome R. Corsi

Posted on 05/19/2006 6:56:03 AM PDT by Dark Skies

President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy.

Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a policy to expand NAFTA to include Canada, setting the stage for North American Union designed to encompass the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration truly wants is the free, unimpeded movement of people across open borders with Mexico and Canada.

President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.

The blueprint President Bush is following was laid out in a 2005 report entitled "Building a North American Community" published by the left-of-center Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CFR report connects the dots between the Bush administration's actual policy on illegal immigration and the drive to create the North American Union:

At their meeting in Waco, Texas, at the end of March 2005, U.S. President George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin committed their governments to a path of cooperation and joint action. We welcome this important development and offer this report to add urgency and specific recommendations to strengthen their efforts.

What is the plan? Simple, erase the borders. The plan is contained in a "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" little noticed when President Bush and President Fox created it in March 2005:

In March 2005, the leaders of Canada, Mexico, and the United States adopted a Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), establishing ministerial-level working groups to address key security and economic issues facing North America and setting a short deadline for reporting progress back to their governments. President Bush described the significance of the SPP as putting forward a common commitment "to markets and democracy, freedom and trade, and mutual prosperity and security." The policy framework articulated by the three leaders is a significant commitment that will benefit from broad discussion and advice. The Task Force is pleased to provide specific advice on how the partnership can be pursued and realized.

To that end, the Task Force proposes the creation by 2010 of a North American community to enhance security, prosperity, and opportunity. We propose a community based on the principle affirmed in the March 2005 Joint Statement of the three leaders that "our security and prosperity are mutually dependent and complementary." Its boundaries will be defined by a common external tariff and an outer security perimeter within which the movement of people, products, and capital will be legal, orderly and safe. Its goal will be to guarantee a free, secure, just, and prosperous North America.

The perspective of the CFR report allows us to see President Bush's speech to the nation as nothing more than public relations posturing and window dressing. No wonder President Vincente Fox called President Bush in a panic after the speech. How could the President go back on his word to Mexico by actually securing our border? Not to worry, President Bush reassured President Fox. The National Guard on the border were only temporary, meant to last only as long until the public forgets about the issue, as has always been the case in the past.

The North American Union plan, which Vincente Fox has every reason to presume President Bush is still following, calls for the only border to be around the North American Union -- not between any of these countries. Or, as the CFR report stated:

The three governments should commit themselves to the long-term goal of dramatically diminishing the need for the current intensity of the governments’ physical control of cross-border traffic, travel, and trade within North America. A long-term goal for a North American border action plan should be joint screening of travelers from third countries at their first point of entry into North America and the elimination of most controls over the temporary movement of these travelers within North America.

Discovering connections like this between the CFR recommendations and Bush administration policy gives credence to the argument that President Bush favors amnesty and open borders, as he originally said. Moreover, President Bush most likely continues to consider groups such as the Minuteman Project to be "vigilantes," as he has also said in response to a reporter's question during the March 2005 meeting with President Fox.

Why doesn’t President Bush just tell the truth? His secret agenda is to dissolve the United States of America into the North American Union. The administration has no intent to secure the border, or to enforce rigorously existing immigration laws. Securing our border with Mexico is evidently one of the jobs President Bush just won't do. If a fence is going to be built on our border with Mexico, evidently the Minuteman Project is going to have to build the fence themselves. Will President Bush protect America's sovereignty, or is this too a job the Minuteman Project will have to do for him?

Well, she apparently didn't like the president nominating Meyers. Neither did I. She's mad at Bush; she feels betrayed. She has cause. There are a lot of conservatives that agree.

I read the points she brought up. Are you saying some are inaccurate?

CFR members aren't kooks. I suspect that they have directions they want the world to go that citizens in the countries of the world may not want.

I don't find the notion of wealthy or powerful men working on plans to direct future history for their own purposes. I think it's tin foil hat time when it's assumed that a such a group, composed of those who can personally direct industry blocs with upper managerial power, meets regularly, the minutes are secret and the security is total.

Knowing the lusts, delusions and self-deception potential of human beings, it's perhaps insane to think the absolute best about it. You'd be wise to treat the thing like you would a slithering sound in the bush that you suspect is a rattlesnake.

Up to you.

The best known Americans who participated in the CFR Task Force that wrote this document are former Massachusetts Governor William Weld and Bill Clinton's immigration chief Doris Meissner. Another participant, American University Professor Robert Pastor, presented the CFR plan at a friendly hearing of Senator Richard Lugar's Foreign Relations Committee on June 9.

Oh yeah, good old Sen. Lugar, the one who has been trying to ram LOST (Law of the Sea Treaty) through without allowing any negative testimony in his committee.

Secret Agenda: Law of the Sea Treaty Will Provide Key “Elements” of “World Government”

It's interesting to see by looking at the keyword spam on that 38 post thread how badly someone wanted to discredit the article.

The SPP is based on the premise that security and our economic prosperity are mutually reinforcing, and recognizes that our three great nations are bound by a shared belief in freedom, economic opportunity, and strong democratic institutions.

I would say it is an uncontested smackdown to say that the second half of that statement is a false premise especially in regards to Mexico. The first half is rather suspect too IMO.

It's probably no big deal, like you said. Maybe someone just doesn't want anyone using that as the keyword anymore and so they pulled it off ALL of those threads, including ALL of todays!
But I'm very certain about what took place. And there is no doubt in my mind, that for whatever reason, the keyword 'immigrant' was purposefully removed from every thread posted to it last week and all of today's as well. I have posted very little today and just been observing (and copying).

You see, I keep the keyword 'immigration' as my homepage to this site and that is why I am very familiar with each and every thread posted specifically to 'immigration'. I was surprised this morning as I went to add comments to some threads from last week, as well as my RICO thread, and they were gone because 'immigration' had been removed.

Then, I noticed there was a huge gap. That ALL the threads posted between 5/14 and 5/19 to 'immigration' were no longer there. The threads ended on date of 5/13 and began again today, 5/20 and there were many for today.
Even my RICO thread had 'immigration' removed, but I added it back. (its gone again!)
Needlesstosay, I was concerned about what was happening and so I did some observing and copying (**see below)

So, Click on 'immigration' now and see......

NOW, there is NOTHING, no threads beyond 5/13.
NOW, there is NOTHING even for today 5/20, where earlier there were many thread.
NOW, my RICO thread is gone again because the word immigation has, again, been removed.

**And just to be sure I hadn't entered the twilight zone, earlier what I did was to copy just a sample of titles of threads and their keywords to a separate document. Here are the links, look at them now. The word immigration is no longer on them.***

(the first is especially interesting because of the volume.....posted today by SBD1, earlier immigration was there. That word has been removed.)

The USA and it Constitution are toast as far as the ruling elite are concerned. Our new fonding fathers are the Bush family, Clinton family and corporate lawyers. The new law of the land is NAFTA>

You are correct. Those of us that have been around for a while know this is no longer "a country of the people by the people and for the people".

There are those that are starting to see what is happening and those who will refuse to see even when it sets in their lap.

If you look you can see the world is being divided up into trading zones and these will be controlled by a system of laws that will eventually supersede any and all laws of individual states or nations.

Constitutions, charters and laws that promote National or individual rights ,freedoms, sovereignty, patriotism or being eroded, discouraged, done away with or just plain ignored.

Those individuals who make and administer these laws will not be accountable to the people.

What were inalienable rights and freedoms, are/will become privileges and will be granted, restricted or not allowed based on the dollar or commercial value to the Corporate Community.

The private ownership of any property will be allowed subject and subject to the same .

Our Congressmen and President will continue to become more and more unresponsive to the people [regardless of party] till they become complete puppets and fronts for those with the real power.

The people will be controlled not so much by physical force but by the threat of financial devastation, loss of property, poverty, and starvation.

They won't have to send troops in for most just have some bureaucrat push some computer keys and freeze or wipe out all of your assets and property you have spent a lifetime working for.

The Bible has been telling us that this future has been coming for thousands of years and we can see the early signs of it beginning.

In Revelation you see a world of nation states in blocks and it is a society which based on, and completely focused on trade.

You will see that all in it are strictly controlled by the leader who allows only those that swear allegiance to him to buy or sell anything that includes the everyday items such as food that you and your family need to survive.

The excerpt below is from the upcoming California Initiative (Transportation bond) on the November ballot (SB1266/Prop 1B). I have been looking for the source of this term "Trade Corridors of National Significance". Any thoughts?
(snip)

Two billion dollars ($2,000,000,000) shall be transferred to the Trade Corridors Improvement Fund, which is hereby created. The money in this fund shall be available, upon appropriation in the annual Budget Bill by the Legislature and subject to such conditions and criteria as the Legislature may provide by statute, for allocation by the California Transportation Commission for infrastructure improvements along federally designated "Trade Corridors of National Significance" in this state or along other corridors within this state that have a high volume of freight movement, as determined by the commission. ... Eligible projects for these funds include, but are not limited to, all of the following:

(snip)

(v) Border access improvements that enhance goods movement between California and Mexico and that maximize the state's ability to access coordinated border infrastructure funds made available to the state by federal law.

I'm on the other side of this argument, but I do agree with you on Peggy Noonan. The book you cite takes off spectacularly, and then dies because she falls in love with some shlub, and doesn't have the deire to finish the thing because of the ups and downs of her infatuation. She is highly emotional, as you say.

"Oh, you got us there. Conspiracy Kooks R Us."

Wellll, do you actually think Bush has a hidden CFR agenda or don't you?

"We have a President who has managed, during economic prosperity, to drive his approval ratings to Nixonian levels."

We have 75% of the population of this country who believes media reports that our economy is the worst since Nixon. Some people will believe whatever they are fed, and ignore whatever is reality. Kind of like conspiracy theorists.....

"he is hell bent on enraging his base by giving 12 million illegals Green Cards to have permanent residence in the US."

Another hallmark of an irrational conspiracy theorist is someone who has to make things up to support his point. Like you just did.

"If you don't have a plausible conventional explanation, then don't chide us for by neccessity venturing somewhat afield."

Somewhat afield? Creating conspiracies is living in fantasy. The real world is strange and complex enough. Limit yourself to reality, and you'd be surprised how simple most things really are.

If that were the only other plausible choice, it would still be more believable than plotting a conspiracy to control the world.
