You're correct about the effects Spam had on the Micronesians and Melanesians. During WWII, allied occupations of those areas created the 'Cargo Cult' feeding the locals rations that the troops had had, damaging the indigenous economy.

chili dogs or if you have spent time in Cincinnati, cheese coneys with everything + extra onions and hot sauce, lotsa hot sauce. Add cold beer to enhance the gastronomical pleasure. I prefer a nice piquant Budweiser light, freshly opened, not stirred.
