So far, 13% of members and 18%+ of participants in this poll say - turn it over to the rats. What's with that? I cannot believe that 13% of those posting here are so stupid or angry with what is happening that they would turn to the rats for the way back to perfect. Now, 13% will result in a winning vote, in a lot of cases.
Anyway, I guess that there is no compromising for some people - just dig a hole and live there while the rats are in charge. I'm so disappointed.
Of which he was continuing a policy established by Jerry Ford actually. No assassination upon foreign heads of state. A Ford E.O. The heads of state supporting terrorism then knew the U.S. would not punish them with death. Carter signed a simuliar E.O. as did Reagan. Reagan did choose a military strike though.
Which is why it is completely idiotic for anyone to encourage others to walk out on the Republicans. First of all, it isn't good for the country. The 'rats, if they get control, will waste two years with investigations out the yin-yang while we're supposed to fight a war on terror. They won't renew tax cuts, and they'll continue to balkanize America with the help of the LameStream Media.
Keep a Republican majority and we can stem the tide--we may not get all we want, but politics is the art of the possible, not the perfect.

We obviously will both draw from different Reagan experiences. I will work to effect change by removing power-hungry, unprincipled Republicans from office. I will encourage you and others (and yes - I realize I stand little chance of convincing you) to boot the Republicans who have sold out the conservative cause.

Which came first the campaign promise or the policy? In this case the promise came first and have yet to be carried out thus the approval ratings went down. NOT the other way around.
I never suggested that Bush follow the polls. The polls followed Bush...Bush left the agenda.

The rise to viability by a third party will take time and it will almost certainly be painful because the Democrats will mathematically be almost certain to take power during any such rise.
But you gotta start somewhere. Today's GOP is growing more liberal by the day and the party is largely spineless. They may talk differently from Democrats but here's reality: Under a GOP majority for years, the country has gone further into the clutches of political correctness and liberal idiocy. Under the current situation or anything like it, the best we can hope for is to slow the momentum of the liberal takeover of this society. That's unacceptable.
I'm sick of yielding on everything we stand for, one little compromise at a time. If there hadn't been people in the past willing to step out for a better way, we'd still have the exact two parties we started with a couple hundred years ago.

They didn't say who paid for the poll but you can bet it was a Democrat candidate. There was no mention of illegal immigrants or closing the border because Democrats do not intend to do anything about either issue. Voting for a Dim candidate, not voting, voting third party and letting the Dims win isn't going to help. That is what they are hoping we are foolish enough to do. I will be working for and voting for Republican candidates. Voting for a Dim, not voting, or voting third party is out of the question.
