This should be a list of who is planning to close their business on Monday, May 1 in response of the Great American Boycott. We should compile it and boycott them ourselves if possible!
Remember to go shopping or work overtime on May 1!

Seriously, I think it sounds neat. I have a daughter doing a PhD in Medieval philosophy, and who is a student of its history.
It's a fascinating period in history, and not nearly as 'Dark' as most people think.
(Actually our kids used to dress up for Greek and Roman days in elementary school.........a very cool shield is still in our basement. It's a very effective teaching tool).

Question: Is there a way to successfully bypass both Tyson and Perdue when buying meat (especially chicken)? When we buy the "store" brand, are we really buying Tyson/Perdue meat repackaged under the store brand name?

Don't know of the Nashville one, but we have one in Arizona. It's very expensive and more theatrics than anything else.

I put the keyword, "ILLEGALALIENASSAULTS," to mark where there's been assaults during these rallies in the past.
The reason I'm betting on it being Denver is because just 2 years ago, whites became a minority. The beligerence around here has been amazing -especially among the younger male groups.

I wonder if they will strike against using our medical system today?
Of course not they want entitlements, and take us for granted. What dems don't get is they minorities want their own. They won't even back a rhino governor Schwarzenegger because he isn't liberal enough.

Well per local news from aerial views do not do business downtown Chicago

Hmmmmm...........leftwing website, eh? Well, THAT's interesting......
Regardless of where it came from, it's completely irrelevant and indicates absolutely nothing.
Somebody upthread commented on how long this one had remained on the sidebar. Maybe it has because it was focusing on the illegals and what they're doing today, and what we as pro-active citizens can do, and not silly bashing of the President.
Seriously, onyx, it's time for me to get off this thread. It's taken a wrong turn.

This thread will go to the dust bin if it turns into a Bush bash and I will be one of the first to hit abuse.

Just called my favorite Mexican restaurant. It has been around since the '60s. It is also cheap and just yummy. I wasn't sure if it would be open, since it's right next to the end of the human chain in Phoenix. The owner (who always works, unless it's Tuesday or he's taking his two weeks off to go fishing in the summer) answered at about 10:16 am. I asked for their hours. He said from 11 am, and if nothing goes wrong they will be there until 9:30.
If anyone lives in the Phoenix area, you might want to stop by Don Jose's at 36 st./Thomas. It's on the north side of Thomas Rd., across the street from the Wal-Mart.

Vendors are beginning to gather. The usual people pushing the carts selling Mexican ice cream and popsicles -- also people selling American flags of various sizes.

My husband is trapped in traffic in Bullhead City, AZ. The main Street. We're going to miss an appointment. He's just sitting there and I'm sitting here FUMING. FUMING that this is being allowed...fuming that this country is on a downward course, and FURIOUS that the people I worked to get elected have betrayed me, once again. We are losing. Don't even attempt to argue with me on that one.
