Three explosions have been heard in the Egyptian resort town of Dahab, according to the Reuters news agency.
More follows...
Why doesnt anyone call them the cowards that they are? Hiding behind women and children, killing innocents. Why not start a "Muslims are cowards" movement.? That way they will be known for being more than just pagans.
Please check in when you hear from your sister. In the meantime, she's on my prayer list ... as are you.
FOX is reporting 3 Americans hurt in the explosions.
It's a rare event when they take on real warriors in even in an ambush by IED, that where the "attacker" is safely distant from the scene of the action.
:(
God bless them all, I hope they catch these sh*ts and then the Egyptian guards can show them prison life in a Middle Eastern torture chamber.
Most of the Muslim terrorist groups are spin offs from the Muslim Brotherhood, including Al Qaeda. The brotherhood was founded in 1928, and soon came into to the Nazi fold. To the point where it was pretty much a branch of Nazi intelligence. It was used against the Jews in Palestine, well before there even was a state of Israel.
Nope, this time it was Mennonites on a rampage, in cooperation with the Seventh Day Adventists.
Wow sounds like the last party Clinton had at the White House.
Sounds like tourism is just booming there!
Does it seem more likely that they set off a bomb on a bridge or that it prematured on the bridge?
I thought it was the Amish again..
Great, and I'm going to go for my vacation to Sharm el-Sheikh, this July.
OPINION - Generally speaking, bridges have been targets in the past in various terror alerts.
They usually don't hit the same country twice at least I haven't seen it happen yet. Just be wary of your surroundings and stay safe that's all you can really do. Hey who would have thought on a beautiful morning here in NYC we would be hit? No place is really safe so you might as well go where you want and just be wary.
From #126 on this thread:
There have been a string of attacks in Egypt's Sinai peninsula over 18 months, including deadly Al Qaeda-style bombings in the Egyptian resorts of Taba and Ras Shitan in October 2004 and in Sharm el-Sheik in July."
Not sure if they are going back to Cairo now or what...
This is one of those "when your number's up" moments. However, the odds are probably on your side, unless things get significantly worse in the near future.
The biggest problem is that terrorism results in the closing of public spaces, massive security, and a very apprehensive attitude among your companions and even among the locals. It's a difficult question.
I praise God for you sister's safety but continue my prayers for the victims and those who haven't heard from family in the area yet.
The really exciting thing is, that I'm going for 7+7 trip (7 days around Israel by bus, and then 7 days in Sharm).
That's going to be a challenge :-)))
