It is meant to stir up fear.

Of the things that worry me a nuke in this county is way down the list.

What does worry me on a nuclear level is the possibility of Iran shooting a nuke at our guys in Iraq or Chia dictator shooting one at Okinawa or South Korea.

Bin Laden is dead... has been so for years.

All tapes released 'by him' are either pre-made recordings with general 'predictions', others are just spliced together from various old videos and tapes that have been made and cataloged.

The reason for the extremely low quality in the tapes is not an accident, but rather is a way to hide the manipulations.

The intel community has gotten lazy and mainly authenticate the voice, and look for some 'time specific' reference to validate that it is him and a new tape. They know this and have planned ahead.

The cynic in me thinks there are some people that find it advantageous for the 'ghost of Bin Laden' to live on for a while longer. (though Zarkqawi and others are just as dangerous if not more)

Well they have the capacity for building a bomb. So why not? They might have gotten stuff from there.

That the government there would have had nothing to do with it seems not to figure in anywhere in your calling to nuke everybody.

Absolutely! And the sooner the better...

It needs to be shown that these guys will be tracked down and exterminated if it takes decades to do it.

Force 4 and 5 Tornados, earthquakes over 6 in urban locations, major mudslides, major flooding effecting dozens of states, hundreds of cities along rivers, hurricanes covering thousands of square miles in devastation -- the Great San Fransico and Chicago fires -- all of these we have experienceds. And never, not once, did we stop being a nation of laws, of a counrty loving order and constantly maintaining it.

No sane man or woman who keeps these clear and numerous facts of history in mind can even imagine that a nuke attack would cause us to revert to what is a old and fairylandish fiction writer's staple of primitive lawlessnes. Grow up.

It will not happen, nukes are not weapons that are easily employed by any but top-notch regular forces -- they and their components age quickly, and they have detectable signatures, not just including radiation.

You said -- 'NOTHING has happened since 9/11."

Bush has gone on record saying that *many things* have been attempted since then. So, it's not from the lack of trying...

Let's try this another way --

"The White House just make an announcement today. They no longer consider Osama bin Laden someone worthy to listen to or care about any more. We're not listening to any more of his tapes. They're just garbage anyway. He's just a blowhard. He says the same things over and over again.

The White House has this one thing to say to Osama bin Laden -- "Who Cares!"

End of Announcement...

Yes..., if the White House just said that -- it would all go away.

Sorry but there is no proof he is dead. When there is proof I will believe it.

Ok well how come he has not done a video tape since December 2001?

He has (one just before the 2004 election that addressed that said election along with a number of other current issues).

UBL is very much alive and everyone from the NCOs hunting his as$ to the CIC are well aware of this fact.

WOW! This is amazing...

Can you give me latest on the whole "earth is round" controversy?

So, Paul McCartney might REALLY be dead? Gosh darn it, I would have lost big money on that bet.

Thanks!

"He did his last video during the 2004 elections remember? Telling us to vote for Kerry."

Those faxes from the DNC must be arriving too late to do much good.

You said -- "We are a BIG nation with many resources."

That sounds vaguely similar to some things in the Bible. God has made a point (in the past) to put nations in their place who think that. Nations who depend upon their resources and their ingenuity and their wealth to protect themselves -- instead of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- find out, by God's hands -- that they've put their trust in the wrong place.

That kind of statement makes me real worried that God may decide to show us where our trust really should be placed.

I hope God doesn't see that this really represents the feeling of this country or else we're going to find out -- from His hand.

Show me the "proof" he is alive.

And no, a muffled audio tape that matches a voice print and generically repeats the same threat/info... in todays digital world where I could churn out one of these things if I wanted... is not acceptable "proof".

Maybe you think that I see China and India as part of the 'middle east'. I should have been clear. Iran and Syria would definitely get hammered. I would probably call for all other Islamic nations to be attacked in the middle east too. I may be wrong, but I would think that if the good people in Iran knew that the US would not tolerate being attacked by a dirty bomb or a nuke, then maybe they will turn against the bad people in order to keep the bad people from doing something stupid.

I think if you look at their history you will find that they really only respond to a swift kick in the pants. I think if we get hit, we hammer them to hell and back.

You said -- "Losing an entire area of the country only cause a slight stumble in the nation's progress.

As far as territory goes we are to big and to spread out to be effectively hit in a way that would send us "back a thousand years" with one blow."

God has been known to "show up" a nation's confidence in itself, by means of wealth and power and military and whatever else they trust in -- when they have abandoned the faith of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Your statements sound like that. And that's about the time that God steps in and sets the record straight. He reminds people that it's not the nation's power and size and wealth and military that makes it strong. It's their faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that makes them strong.

Where is that faith?
