Folks, I just received some bad news and I wanted to share it with those of you who particiapte on the forum.
FReeper SoFarRight, BlackbirdSST's wife of 27 years was diagnosed with advanced cancer earlier today. BlackbirdSST asked that I place this post on the forum and request prayers for SoFarRight and him. He would also appreciate it if you would include prayers for their family. I would suggest their friends could use them as well.
He was headed back to the hospital to be with her and try to come to grips with what is taking place.
He states that with prayer and grit, they will overcome this.
I'm not the person who generally posts things like this on the forum, but my heartfelt prayers will be lofted on their behalf this evening and beyond.
I'm sure our fellow FReepers SoFarRight and BlackbirdSST would appreciate the expression of your kind thoughts on this thread this evening and over the next few days.
Please keep them in your thoughts.

Next month marks 2 years that my friend with liver cancer, Betty, was told that she had 3 to 6 months to live. She's still up and about, thanks to our merciful Lord and FReeper prayers.
