ACAPULCO- The decapitated heads of two police officials were found early Thursday dumped in front of a government building in this Pacific coast resort...
The heads of police commander Mario Nunez Magana and officer Jesus Alberto Ibarra were found at the same site where four drug traffickers died during a shootout with law enforcement.
The heads of the two -- who were involved in the Jan. 27 shootout -- were accompanied by sign that warned, "So that you learn to respect."
They were discovered about 3 a.m. in front of the city's Finance Department -- just over a mile from the city's main tourist zone ...
Acapulco, 180 miles southwest of Mexico City, has been shaken this year by more than a dozen high-profile shooting deaths as well as several grenade attacks on police stations.
Federal investigators link the violence to a turf war between drug gangs in northern Mexico for lucrative smuggling routes into the United States.

"A nice, armed, HUGE, wall would end that lucrative drug smuggling route..."
If they can't even keep drugs out of prisons a fence isn't going to stop the flow. They'll dig more tunnels, use sea routes, planes, and do like they have been doing all along through border check points where drugs come over in small vehicles or thousands of pounds at a time in large trucks. Most of the tonnage of drugs coming over is probably coming through border checkpoints, either with border security on the take or just by hiding it in loads and taking the chance that it won't be one of the few loads searched. Sometimes the truck drivers probably don't even know it's hidden in the loads they've picked up. These trucks are carrying far bigger loads than small vehicles and certainly backpacking illegals could ever carry. A fence would cut down a lot on the number of illegal aliens crossing the border, but it won't stop the flow of drugs. There is too much money to be made getting relatively small loads across the border for something like a fence to stop it.
Hope today brings you better health.
The U.S. needs some special forces of some kind to go in and clean them out. Obviously Mexico can't do it.

Thanks CC, I needed to hear this ;)
not coimg to a town near us.
In fact would you believe that illegal immigration from mexico will not be a problem in 20 years..in fact by 2015 mexico's birth rate will drop below replacement. No western country over the past 30 years has seen its birth rate drop as fast as mexico's. Mexico birth rate today is less than 1/2 what it was in 1980. Thus in 2025 the growth rate of mexico's labor force will be less than 1/2 what it is today...the immigration pressures will continue for 15 more years, they will then stop and possibly reverse themselves. meanwhile prepare for massive immigration from europe after 2020 as europeans find living in europe increasingly intolerable
LOL! Your head-never leave Mexico without it.
Isn't AZT an AIDS drug?
Anyhoo, I say we all take a lil' vacation to Mehico now.
All of us. At the same time. ; )
Amazing. There actually were two honest Mexican policemen!
"Honest" and "Mexican police" in the same sentence are mutually exclusive.
Well at least among the living!
