ACAPULCO- The decapitated heads of two police officials were found early Thursday dumped in front of a government building in this Pacific coast resort...
The heads of police commander Mario Nunez Magana and officer Jesus Alberto Ibarra were found at the same site where four drug traffickers died during a shootout with law enforcement.
The heads of the two -- who were involved in the Jan. 27 shootout -- were accompanied by sign that warned, "So that you learn to respect."
They were discovered about 3 a.m. in front of the city's Finance Department -- just over a mile from the city's main tourist zone ...
Acapulco, 180 miles southwest of Mexico City, has been shaken this year by more than a dozen high-profile shooting deaths as well as several grenade attacks on police stations.
Federal investigators link the violence to a turf war between drug gangs in northern Mexico for lucrative smuggling routes into the United States.

It's probably not a bad thing in the overall scheme of things. Until it gets so bad in Mexico that the corrupt government actually decides to crack down, then nothing in that country will change. After Fox, the second most powerful conglomerate is backed by Communists. This is why Bush supports Fox to the point of having a wet, brown nose.
It would be like having Venezuela and Cuba next door, and an open border to boot.
I'm depressing myself. Time to have a drink and annoy my wife some...

At least the Arab in Yemen might offer you a chance to convert to Islam and perhaps spare your life. The druggie thuggies will just kill you.

Looks like they are taking a play out of the old Al Qaeda handbook No...this kind of gruesome filth has been going on for a long time down there, it's just now that you hear about it - maybe because so much attention is on Mexico these days.
But people in the border states have heard of things like this and worse (if it could be) for years.
And it makes you want to build a 30 foot Titanium wall between us and the madness that is their "country".
But our overseers want this to be our children's future. So we get noise, and no barrier.

"A nice, armed, HUGE, wall would end that lucrative drug smuggling route..." If it was only a question of drug routes, that could be resolved overnight without a fence if the will were there on both sides of the border. But to maintain open borders for the new slave class, the powers that be will downplay the drug routes and amuse the people with the Mexican Hat Dance on the Senate floor, leaving the border problem on the back burner.
In addition, if the PTB make more money on the drug trade than they do on the alien worker program, the 'doing the jobs that Americans won't do' ploy covers what's happening behind the curtain or under the table where the real action is. In which case, the border never be secured -- fence or not.
IMO.

The DUmmies got caught trying to get the illegals to vote, again.
The old media is helping the DUmmies by not using the words like "Amnesty for Illegals."
