Kerry 'thinking hard' about 2008 run for president

Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said on Thursday he was seriously thinking about another White House bid in 2008 and will decide before the year is out.

"I will make that decision toward the end of the year, but I'm thinking about it hard," Kerry said in response to a question at the Latin Economic Forum at the United Nations.

"If you can get help me find 60,000 votes in Ohio ...," he joked, referring to the close race in that state on which his 2004 loss to President Bush hinged.

Kerry, a U.S. senator from Massachusetts, has criticized Bush on a range of issues, particularly the war in Iraq.

On Thursday, he focused on Latin America, saying Bush lost interest in the region after the September 11 attacks.

"Relations between the United States and Latin America today are at their lowest point since the end of the Cold War," Kerry said.

Other Democrats seen as potentially seeking the nomination include U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner and Kerry's former running mate, John Edwards.

I've always felt special because the year I was born these movies were released. The Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, and Stagecoach (John Wayne's first biggie)

Kerry is like a recurring nightmare who just won't go away. I hope he runs again so George Allen or Mitt Romney can beat him like a rented mule.

Here's hoping he stays in form: "I thought about running for president before I thought about not running for president."

Hey, did you hear the shocking news? Senator Kerry was in VIETNAM!!! I know this wasn't widely reported, but golly gosh gee, wow!!! I'm completely surprised he didn't refer to it constantly during his campaign. You would think he being a vet and all would have made a huge difference.

Oh well, what could have been....

As a side note, did I mention that I've got a slightly used bridge for sale?

"Chucky Schumer might pop up in the primaries and take the nomination. " God help us pal , don't even say that out loud . He is THE BIGGEST FRAUD that ever walked the earth .

Chuckie Schumer? Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy? Dirty Harry Reid? Dingy Dick Durbin? Hitlery Clintoon? Bill Clintoon? Howard "the screamer" Dean? Al "rabid" Gore? John McVain? Nancy Pelosi? Feingold? Jimmah Cahtah?

Hmmm, I don't know! There's lots of leading contenders for the BIGGEST FRAUD award, most of them DUmmies, but a few RINO's & CINO's contesting for good measure!

Blah blah blah . . . Kerry and his "60,000 vote" mantra is really tiresome. And two can play at that game--if Bush had won WI or PA he wouldn't have needed OH.

Dittos to that! I got great satisfaction from contributing to the Swift Boat Vets and watching them take the F'n apart, piece by piece. Their ads were the best, even though I had to watch them on the internet and on Fox - they weren't broadcast here in CA; probably would have been a waste of their money.
