A man was attacked early Saturday by about 15 youths near an entrance to a parking garage at the rear of a Strip resort, police said.
The victim is able to pull away from the crowd, but he is chased and caught in the middle of a roadway, where the growing group of attackers, as if in a feeding frenzy, continues to punch, kick and stomp on him as he curls in a fetal position on the ground. One of the assailants appears to use a chain or some type of belt to whip the man.
The victim, whose name and age were not released, suffered a broken jaw and a broken collarbone, police said.
"This is truly egregious," Las Vegas police Capt. Dave O'Leary said.
He said the suspects are thought to have been coming out of a nearby movie theater when the attack occurred.
The United Artists Showcase 8 movie theaters are next to the MGM Grand on the Strip, and visitors to the cinemas frequently park at the MGM Grand.
Authorities are looking for about 15 people in their late teens or early 20s who were involved, O'Leary said.
On the videotape, most, if not all, of the attackers appear to be boys or young men, but at least one woman is seen kicking the victim before she jogs away laughing.
The videotape shows the victim keeping an eye on the crowd as it streamed past the golf cart in which he was sitting at about 2:20 a.m.
One of the young men passing by the golf cart is seen taking the man's two-way radio out of the passenger side of the vehicle, police said.

I didn't know that. Do blacks work in the casinos, etc., or are they a marginal group? I haven't been there for years, and I have always thought of it as being a mixture of local whites and Hispanics and a large scattering of Easterners of all kinds, either as tourists/gamblers or as owners.
They were described as "youths", which is a code word for black thugs.
Possible. I do have some older relatives by marriage, however, who carry radios with them all the time and speak to each other in grocery or department stores, while they are driving home from Sunday dinner, etc. Perhaps the newspaper report was referring to a Nextel type of "two-way radio."
I would say that most of these crimes are carried out by black kids.They can't seem to gather in large groups without turning into filthy animals.I wish that the victim pulled out a pistol and killed every single one of these scumbags.
Compare this story to the Duke story where EVERY MSM article plays up the race angle.

Las Vegas doesn't take kindly to anything that could hurt tourism. If this was againast a tourist (or at least perceived to be) then I believe they will throw the book at the perps.
But do tourists ride golf carts around the MGM? I suspect he was an employee. I still hope they throw the book at them!
It doesn't matter if it was a tourist or not, it's bad press for Las Vegas and they won't tolerate it one bit.
As a kid who has lived all over the world (military kid) and ended up in vegas to go through my teen years, I can honestly tell you that there is a great deal of hatred for whites here. I went to Cheyenne high school in the early to mid 90's I had ice thrown at me, was spit on was grabbed by "non white" kids and harrassed so bad by 10-15 "non White" girls everyday in PE. Don't try to tell the school admin about it they will accuse you of being racist!!! I never once said anything that could be perceived as racist and or disrespectful to anyone or any race or creed. I guess its the new crime to be a blonde haired blue eyed girl. This is common in the public schools in Vegas, it's now spilling into the rest of the city!!! None of my friends will put their kids in school here because of the racial tensions.
They were always designed to created an exclusive protected class of individual. My skin color, religion, and poltiical party are not protected because I am perceived to be part of the "majority".
I only stay at the Belaggio. The $200 room fee can be made up in a few minutes of craps. It's worth it, the room, the food, the people you run into. The 50 types of food for early breakfast. I visit the Luxor for a few hours at night before going back. I limit myself to about a 24 hour visit. Usually successful. I like a wad of $100s making my ass bulge on the 15 and 58 and 14 back to L.A. doing 85-95. Certainly no need to visit the bank for a while:)
The repeated sexual assault of a kidnapped Indonesian woman by a Saudi couple in Colorado who kept her as a slave (not just a sex slave, but working slave, loaned out for chores) is also more horrific than the Duke story, yet it also is barely registering on the national news.
It's bad press for Vegas IF it gets legs. The local Fox affiliate (Fox 26 Houston) has an hour long broadcast. The story was teased in the opening minute (with no mention of the city), and teased several times more. It did not get broadcast until 45 minutes into the program.
Who stays tuned for all 60 minutes of the "news"? that last half hour is entertainment and sports and some sort of health report, etc.
There is a double standard.

Watch the very beginning - the first guy to wail into the victim (while still at the golf cart) is obviousl black (or a very dark-tan white dude dressed up like a black dude...
