Please mark your calendars to be in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, April 23, 2006 for a rally calling on the federal government to secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws and to not give amnesty to illegal aliens.

A formal announcement will be coming soon after a few details are worked out. Time is short, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up that something is in the works.

Please note, this will not be a rally for those who hate immigrants. This will be a rally for those who love America and want to preserve it for all Americans and legal immigrants.

Don't be discouraged by the negativity displayed here. Your faithful commitment to countering the liberal insanity by your physical (and vocal!) presence has had a positive impact. Water destroys a mountain. Easier to do when you have a huge torrent in the same place at the same time but even a few drops steadily applied over a long time will achieve the goal. "It'll be Sunday, April 23rd at 2 p.m. on the Mall at 7th St. Regardless of who shows up, I'll plant Old Glory there I've got a few more details to work out with the Park Service before the formal announcement. Look for that sometime Thursday.And yes, we'll be at Walter Reed the evening of the 21st."

So look for finalized details tomorrow, April 13. I asked "supernatural" to put me on the ping list in hopes that I don't miss the info, either.

When the plans are finalized and announced, anyone who wants to help with turnout for the April 23 Secure Our Borders Rally can call into talk radio stations, local and national, to get out the word. We can't depend on the media to mention a gathering of Americans who want our laws enforced and our borders secured against an invasion by illegal aliens, people with criminal backgrounds or others who plan to commit terrorist acts.

the least everyone can do is to call/write/email their Senator or Congressperson....and, don't have to limit to their State. I'm in Fla but I also OFTEN call Frist, Graham, Specter (grrrr), Santorum etc. Toll free # to US Capitol switchboard...1-888-355-3588.
If gathering was on week-day, entire group could go to each Senator's office vs rally in park. Bet the Senators would really love such a visit.....not.

With more advanced notice I might have been able to attend.But I wish you all good luck and I hope for a TREMENDOUS turnout.That would certainly get the attention of the Washington elites.I pray we can organize future rallies that are ever bigger-bigger even than those by the illegal criminals-until our voices are heard.AND remember in November to "turn the rascals out"!!

My apologies for not posting an update. My day job is chewing up the hours in this week.

I've been given a green light from the Park Service, so it's all systems go.
