Please mark your calendars to be in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, April 23, 2006 for a rally calling on the federal government to secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws and to not give amnesty to illegal aliens.
A formal announcement will be coming soon after a few details are worked out. Time is short, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up that something is in the works.
Please note, this will not be a rally for those who hate immigrants. This will be a rally for those who love America and want to preserve it for all Americans and legal immigrants.
THANKS for the heads up!
Come on folks lets show them!!
This is ironic.
I just recently had to fill out a
13 page security check form,
along with fingerprints,
and a copy of my birth certificate,
for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary,
(all volunteer, i.e. no pay)
which then goes to the Dept of Homeland Security,
even though I've been a member since Oct 2001,
and have worked on base (Station Coos Bay)
every single week since Oct 2001.
I've worked in the radio room,
inputed crew training records
and now do commercial vessel exams.

IF I had not submitted my security form
by 1 JUL 2006 I would have been barred from
being on base with no exceptions even though
I have over 3000 documented hours since Oct 2001.

Gee, if I was only an illegal
I could have avoided all that pesty paperwork
and would be treated above the law!
.
Odd how I still play by the rules
while the vast majority in DC
"protect" the illegals in our country.
I should have a green light by Wednesday. Please plan accordingly.

So much for 'last ping of the night'...
I live on the other coast and can't make it, but HOPE there is a huge turnout!!!!!!!
Hit those ping lists please!!
You're my hero!
We, Freepers, are a little part of electing our officials into Government and THEY ARE NOT LISTENING TO WHY WE ELECTED THEM.
Well, we are citizens. That should count for something, LOL!
I still get frosted having to prove my eligibility to work in the land of my birth everytime I apply for a new job.
Some (protest tantrum organizers) believe that Jose, fresh from crossing the southern border, simply by virtue of having crossed and entered the US, now has as many chips in the game as you.
About time bump! I will be there, if I have to go Greyhound.
I hope you can. It's important.
"I still get frosted having to prove my eligibility to work in the land of my birth everytime I apply for a new job."
Yes, and that's all part of the "enforcement" from the last amnesty.
Alright folks, lets make it happen!
This sucks! I can never make those arrangements in less than 2 weeks ;(
Sigh. And they wonder why we're balking at this amnesty.
Over here!
