Just got home from work, and was listening to Joe Crummy on KFYI interview one of the dads of the kids that burned the Mexican flag:
Apparently, his kid was arrested by AJ Police and was held in detention in Florence all day yesterday. CHarged with Arson. It took all of their savings to get a retainer for an atty.
It gets better. The family is now getting death threats. They were informed by police that there are those trying to find out where the family lives, and are going after them. AJ police stated to the father, there is nothing they can do about it, until someone actually shows up on their property.
Also, there was another kid from the school (Rod, who said he was a "future" Marine) read that letter from the school, forbiding any kid to wear any article of clothing resembling or representing a flag, no matter what country it represents.
He said emphatically, that he *will* wear the US Flag to school Monday.
Apparently this flag burning was near the ROTC table.
My respect for the kids in AJ have grown a hundred fold!

We've been infested by the L.A. gang mentality here now, thanks to these stinking little maggots.
This is what I despise most, the decent into crude violence. Their (Mexico's) dominant culture of ZERO education, and macho violencia makes me sick. I walked into a Mexican shop in one of the invasion zones in suburban Oregon, and inside there were these truly scummy young punks, probably totally illiterate. They had gold caps on their teeth, and trashy plaid gang clothes, and were leering at me and looking excited at a chance for trouble.
I, on the other hand, have spent years educating myself and paying taxes and was employed at the nearby software giant. It made me so furious that I who have invested years building things up must have it turned into an exciting game of sudden loss instigated by garbage that has never invested in anything in any way.
I am not incapable of violence, I'm not small and, let's say, not altogether unfamiliar with martial arts. But I use those things ONLY as self defense, not as a game.
But these garbage bags from a failed, fifth rate nation (Mexico) ONLY use violence to get through their worthless lives.
And here I am pushed face to face with this crap because burping aristocrats in DC gorge and wallow in advantage for themselves underwritten by the highest bidder.
This illegality is NOT how I'm going to go through life, one way or the other, that WILL NOT happen.

We're not getting bombed (yet), but knowing and not knowing what is coming from south of the border, one can't be too careful.
Just ask the folks in Houston what they found.
War on terror? Ha. Don't get me started.

Has anyone got a link to the report of this arrest. I've been looking but can't find anything. I found
this report published today but it doesn't say anything about a kid getting arrested for burning the Mexican flag.

Sir, I can and will support the law. If I place without permission my foreign flag on the same pole of the flag of the US, then, if I were on a jury adjudicating the decision as it may well be, I would vote NOT GUILTY. The flag was abandoned.

Last year. If it would have been his flag this would not have been a problem. Burning someone else's property is arson.

this *is* roughly what I expected. sad to say.

I don't know, but I'd send him $20 here and now to help him out.

You must be illiterate. It was abandoned on the flagpole.
I have a valid question. Is the flagpole lighted at night.
If not the school itself should be penalized for the improper display of a US flag.

the flag was raised on state property - making the flag the detritus of an act of vandalism and a piece of LITTER.
at worst, this young fellow is guilty of "destroying garbage without a burn permit".

I feel the same way.
One dirty bomb crossing our southern border and killing tens of thousands of Americans and we won't be having any congressional discussions. The borders South and North will be sealed in 24 hours with shoot to kill orders.

Can you point me to the FR thread about Matt's book? I can't find it.
Or some exterior link?
Thanks.

Shortly after that he raped Eileen Wellstone a 19 yr old nurse, an acquaintance of my cousin. It was because of this crime he was stripped of his Rhodes scholarship, expelled and ordered to leave the country immediately.Hi, just catching up on this thread. What you posted is absolutely stunning. I've never heard about it, and I thought I was pretty well up on the Clintons' various crimes.
Was this event publicized at all during the 1992 election? Or is it illegal to do so once the court records are sealed?
Am I the only person who's never heard of this?
To: AllmanBrosFan
Legal defense? He shouldn't need it. This is freedom of speech!I'm sure the ACLU will file a lawsuit and take it to the Supreme Ct., if necessary, like they did for burning the American flag.
/sarc.
PS. I agree with your nic.!

He said emphatically, that he *will* wear the US Flag to school Monday. Sad. Teaching kids to disrespect authority like that. The principal knows what's right for the school and who are these parents teaching their kids it's okay to flaunt authority just because they feel like it.
