Kansas is getting its fair share of illegals. I just moved back from 18 years in Los Angeles so, obviously, the illegal population is not out of control as Calif is (yet). I notice more now though - even encountered a McDonald's manager I couldn't understand in a upscale part of the city.
You think the organizers were targeting cities that would make the biggest media splash in districts that they thought were pivotal to the Senate vote?
do what you can locally to legally discourage local businesses and politicos from making it easy to be illegal in your area, and keep your options open.

Why are all those indigenous people speaking Spanish?
What we need is a bigtime coast to coast organizing from FR, been a long time since we've done that, BUT this one I will make, even if I have to be carried to DC! But we have to make it BIG, we would need to tie into all the other organizations that feel as we do and we do not simply have the time IN time to show them we're serious before they get elected
I'm thinking if we all call in sick to our jobs and have a one day walk-out let's see if the illegals being deported and stopping this country's workforce would be more effective
I like your thinking, but could you elaborate?
