Searched, but could not find this.

Either the fix is in, or Boehner is trying to increase the bidding.

Characterizing this as backing down is ridiculous. The house and the senate are not going to get their specific bills. They will have to be reconciled. Something has to give or there will be no bill.

Here's the man you need to contact:

John Boehner, Majority (not for long if this keeps us) Leader of the House, who announced his impending plans to complete the sellout of this country in the Washington Post:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/28/AR2006032801665.html

House Majority Leader John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) said that he hopes the Senate will pass what he called "a responsible border security bill," but he indicated he is willing to rethink the House approach. After meeting with ranchers and law enforcement officers on the U.S.-Mexican border, Boehner said those living on the frontier did not believe the House-passed border wall would work.

"If the people on the border don't believe that the wall will have the effect that people here think, then we ought to reconsider it," he said.

Boehner also said he knows of no promises that House GOP leaders have given to anti-immigration firebrands to block House consideration of a guest worker program.

- end quote -

Boehner, a big business Republican, seems intent to designate negotiators for the House who will cave into the Senate amnesty provisions and ensure fat donations to Boehner for years to come from big business. If you wish to do whatever you can to stop this treason, contact Boehner now.

Simply uttering the word "Amnesty" brings another flood of illegals.

1) We need to secure our borders.

2) We need to enforce and strengthen current immigration laws.

3) No Visa program sould allow people who are illegally inside the United States at the time of application to apply.

4) Immigration law should focus on the benefitting the United States, not on benefitting others. It is quite possible to benefit others while benefitting the US, however the primary concern is what is best for the US, not trying to solve the world's problems.

We shouldn't jump to any conclusions. But it sounds like Boehner and Blunt are setting the stage for a compromise with the Senate that allows for a guest worker provision in any new immigration reform legislation. The Bush-McCain-Kennedy-Spector guest worker program proposal is nothing but backdoor amnesty. So much for US sovereignty, rule of law and fairplay with the legal immigration process.

HILLARY VOTE FRAUD
missus clinton uses Jesus

ARTICLE

HEAR HILLARY

On March 26, hundreds of thousands of people flooded onto Los Angeles' streets to protest a bill currently passing through Congress. The House version of the bill strengthens legal consequences for those associated with illegal immigration: Knowingly assisting, encouraging, directing or inducing illegal immigrants to cross the border would be punishable by no less than three and no more than 20 years in prison, and/or a fine; knowingly hiring more than 10 illegal immigrants would be punishable by no more than five years in prison, and/or a fine; illegal immigration would be a felony; new border patrol agents would be trained; funding would be provided to construct a fence along one-third of the U.S./Mexico border.....

Only now, several decades too late, has Congress decided to act.

But better late than never. The stated purpose of the controversial bill is to curb terrorism. September 11 surely awakened us to the dangers of nonexistent border control....

These machinations are really only more of the same: Congress legislates, INS ignores. This is political pandering at its most cynical. These machinations are de facto nothings.

The GOP must not allow itself to be torn apart by de facto nothings.
The hispanic voter must not allow itself to be demagogued by de facto nothings.
The Right must not cede the hispanic vote to the Left.
The Right must not cede the hispanic vote to hillary clinton.

No Amnesty.
No hiding it as a Guest Worker Program.

They broke the Law getting here. Do NOT reward them. Make them go back where they came from and re-apply as legal immigrants. Not one more DIME in US tax payer money should go to any foreign national illegally occupying our soil.

NOTHING else will be acceptable.

Don't worry one bit. This is a fact. The RINOcrat party will cave and give into everything that allows illegals to become legal. Just think, you as a citizen breaks a law, such as not paying your IRS billing statement to the Imperial Federal Government of D.C. and at the point of a gun you are arrested, tried and sent to jail. Your property is confiscated and sold at auction and the money given to the Imperial Federal Government of D.C. to buy more votes from Illegals. Said Illegals, who have clearly BROKEN THE LAW by illegally coming into this country, are granted amnesty for breaking the law and given a free ride on your tax dollars to cover their room, board, medical bills, and other freebies such as schooling. You, on the other hand, are doing 3-to-5 in the federal pen for not paying the Imperial Federal Government in D.C. it's just dues out of your pay check.

My Letter to my Senator. (one of many lately on this topic)

Dear Senator

Our Country is a country of Immigrants as you well know. But the current ILLEGAL immigration problem, and our problems on our southern borders, especially in a time of war is unacceptable.

I urge you to support any plan that does the following.

1. Punishes Illegals for breaking the law.

2. Harshly punishes ANY employer who does not verify the legal citizenship status of someone in their employment (I have to go throught this leapex, and I, like you, am a Marine. I don't see why I should be made to prove my citizenship and some maggot from another country doesn't)

3. Ends the Anchor baby practice

4. Ends ALL government handouts, including medical care (all of it) for Illegals.

5. Beef up our security on our southern border including a wall if necessary.

6. Immediately implement a plan to round up and deport back to their home countries, any and all illegal immigrants.

7. Do NOT allow any illegal currently in country to stay here under any kind of guest worker, amnesty or whatever kind of plan. Send them home and let them come back in legally. There are provisions for that.

Senator, I urge you strongly to work towards these goals. This is no longer just a jobs issue. This is now a National Security issue and we WILL hold you and the rest of the Republican Party directly responsible for failure to act on these points. The American People are fed up with the lack of action by our elected representatives. The House and the Senate work for US, WE the People.

The House and The Senate had better start acting like it.

I actually have a guest worker plan that I believe most here would accept.

Simply restrict guest workers to male workers only. No women, no kids, no families. In addition to that, any employer who hires them must cover their medical insurance so the taxpayer doesn't get saddled with it.

If this one makes it to conference, without fences and total security, I hope it dies there. There should be no pathways nor shamnesties allowed by RINO and Communist Democrats until we are secure, lest we lure another several million.

Anyone remember that smugglers brought Mohammedans in for cash, dressed and made up to look like all the other illegal invaders?

At some point, the buck stopped on Pennsylvania Ave.

I've been hearing mostly just a bunch of could've, should've and would'ves here on FR lately but I have a question that continues to puzzle me, what do most people consider "Guest Worker" that the process would lead it not to be "Amnesty"?

I think there's a way to get this all done right, but I don't know if it could pass, because it would be expensive.

You start building a serious border fence, at least on the southern border, and maybe at least parts of the northern border.

You announce a guest worker program, which can be applied for over the next year or so. The guest worker program provides:

However, in order to qualify, applicants would be required to apply in person at an embassy or other special office in their country of origin. This would encourage illegals to "deport" themselves.

To obtain a card, an applicant would also have to provide proof of identity, and pass criminal background and health screenings.

At the end of the three years, guests could either return to their country of origin, or take an examination on English and U.S. history and culture, to obtain a permanent visa. If they got that, then in another three years, they could take a tougher examination and apply for citizenship.

Meanwhile, the fence is completed, and the border crackdown deters additional illegals. And then you'd have to weed out the illegals that remained in the country, because more than likely, they would have criminal records. And obviously crack down on employers.
