One of the bluest of the Blue States in the nation gave Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton(D-NY) some disheartening news today: If the presidential election were held today, Sen. Clinton gets whipped in New Jersey by Republicans Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and "America's Mayor" Rudy Guiliani, according to a new poll.
Giuliani beats Clinton in New Jersey 53 to 39 percent and McCain beats her by 54 to 39 percent in the newly released Quinnipiac University poll. New Jersey is always considered a state that can be counted on to give its electoral votes to the Democrat presidential candidate.
According to the New York Post, the poll could continue to fuel Democrat Party doubts about Clinton because Democrats have been winning there. In his losing 2004 bid, John Kerry comfortably beat President Bush in New Jersey 53 to 46 percent.
Clinton gets clobbered by Republican candidates even with Bush being so unpopular in New Jersey, with 65 percent giving him failing marks.

Please, please, please let the dimlycraps nominate her. Please.
I hope we don't have to put up one of these two Rinos in order to beat Hillary.
If she can not win in the state that gave you, Torch Torricelli, Jim McGreedy, and Daddy Warbuck's Corzine, she can not win anywhere.
I'll see your moonbat and raise you two RINO's.
I agree, Brilliant. If we can't do better than Guiliani or McCain, we might as well elect Queen Hillary.
Electing Log Legs would at least re-unite the conservative base of the party.
"She will not even win in the primaries unless she starts appealing to the moonbat element and stop moving to the "center"."
The same could be said for the moonbat element on the right re: McCain and Guiliani!!!
I must be one of the moonbat rights because I won't vote for either McCain or Guiliani in the primaries.
However, I would vote for either of them before I would vote for Hillary.
They wanted a Kucinich... would settle for a Dean... but got a Kerry!
There's absolutly NO reason to believe they won't do the same in 2008. With her money and Rapist42 at her side... she will walk away with the nomination.
I personally do not want to see her win the dem nomination. She and her husband are extremely dirty players and do not abide by rules of fair play. If she gets that close to the WH, there is nothing that they wouldn't do. Best stop the beast early on before it smells any victory at all.
All the polls are faked.
Liberals love to give Republicans advice...
The big trouble is some Republicans believe them.
"I agree, Brilliant. If we can't do better than Guiliani or McCain, we might as well elect Queen Hillary."
You CANNOT be serious! Guiliani and McCain may not be all that conservatives desire, but, come on. Guiliani is a man of PROVEN leadership abilities and some integrity. McCain is a man of principle who, I think, really does love our country. Hillary is a complete self-serving, narcissistic (sp) liar.
Let's think of what we're doing here. Really. Any republican would be better than Hillary.
We don't. I don't believe that Hillary can beat any viable candidate barring a third party run by someone that would draw votes from the GOP. AHEM, .... McCain. I also believe McCain to be exactly that self-oriented.
Hillary will, and has, beat herself. She's far too polar in general and as you say, without her base, she wouldn't stand a chance. This is all media play to try to get McCain, about as liberal a GOP candidate as we could field, Giulianni as well, installed as the frontrunner for the GOP.
It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. McCain would be a disaster for this country however. He's already attempted to usurp the peoples' freedoms. To think that wouldn't continue is unwise.
Yes, I'm dead serious. Imagine what either Guiliani or McCain would do on a) Supreme Court appointments b) entitlement reform c) lowering taxes d) immigration reform and e) decreasing the size of the federal government.
Would Guiliani or McCain be any better than Hillary in these areas ? Most likely, not at all.
The difference is that the Republicans in Congress would rubber stamp any programs or appointments proposed by Guiliani or McCain. At least if it was Queen Hillary making the decisions, the Republicans would raise hell and try to block most of them.
This whole Republicans vs. Democrats argument is not like the Hatfields vs. the McCoys. Yet, many treat it that way.
I don't vote for RINOS.
I hear you. Now allow me one more question: do you not agree that there'd be great pressure upon any republican president (Rino or not) to go the "party way"? Consider that many a candidate has flip flopped on their beliefs after getting the nomination. Cheers.
AMEN
I agree completely. Fraudulent votes, payoffs etc...= 1st woman Democrat president.
NOTHING is beyond them. Ask Vince Foster
Ask these people
