I used to buy Playboy in my 20's and early thirties, before the artificially-enhanced girls began to appear. This was about the same time they started these "data sheets". I remember thinking two things: (1) Do I really care what her favorite pet is, and (2) Why do want to see a picture of her sitting on a pony when she was 5 years old?

As a deputy prosecutor, I can tell you that "slam-dunk" cases--like this one supposedly was to be--are not always a cakewalk. A jury could have looked at her, looked at the victim, and have decided that there was no way she was going to be convicted of child molestation. Double standard? Absolutely! True? I'd bet so.

The state's attorney in this case probably did the right thing.
