Freeper (Kristinn) Scheduled to Appear on MSNBC's Hardball - 3/20/06
Freeper | March 20, 2006

Posted on 03/20/2006 1:47:00 PM PST by tgslTakoma

Kristinn just called to say that he'll be on this afternoon to talk about the war, protesters, public opinion... I wasn't able to get much more information, because his phone is pretty busy right now. I think he said he'll be on during the 5:30 segment.

For those of us who never watch Hardball, it starts at 5pm on the east coast.

Crissy has NOT stated it since 2004 election however. He probably couldn't stand Gore - and he was no fan of Clinton and his shennanigans.

I do remember CM dogging Clinton during Monicagate more than other reporters, namely that scum Geraldo...

Of course Matthews doesn't think Che Guevara was a bad person..

This is the crux of the matter. Liberals like Matthews are unable to accept that there is such a thing as good or evil. Marxism is romanticized so that its worst perpetrators are seen as nothing but a little too wild and crazy, a little too rough around the edges, but hardly true criminals. After all, they merely pushed a little too hard in trying to achieve a progressive utopia. In the minds of the Chris Matthews of the world, Che's crimes were merely of degree, and not of direction.

So perhaps from Matthews' perspective, Bob Marley smoked a little too much ganga; he still made great music, and perhaps Che killed and tortured too many people; but he still did it for a great cause.

Ah, but he did not shoot the deputy, so he is not a multiple murderer. (couldn't resist ;^) )

'xactly, LOL! Bob was just a victim of circumstance, but ol' Che made it a vocation. ;-)

I suppose we should be SLIGHTLY encouraged that Matthews at least implied that he might have a problem with his son wearing an Osama bin Laden t-shirt. Maybe he does have SOME standards, however low. But sheeeeeesh!

That's what I suspected, but I didn't want to put words in Kristinn's mouth that MSNBC does what it wants, no matter how many times he told them. Freepers have had this problem before, even some with FOX News though not as bad as thew others.

We first need to change the saying "for the war". We are not for the war, WE SUPPORT THE TROOPS AND THEIR MISSION! I saw the 'for the war' MSM reference on another thread. I urge all the FReepers and true troop supporters who are interviewed to correct what we stand for.

I'm from Maryland and not familiar with Mitch Albom. Maybe someone in his area can call and inform him that at almost every antiwar/antitroop protest, someone was there to tell the correct side of the story. The MSM is soooo lying, and when they aren't lying, they are only reporting on the negatives.

Several people we know in Iraq are really frustrated with the MSM.

Thanks for the heads up, tgslTakoma! 5:30pm segment... Is that another or a different "Hardball" show? The "usual" Hardball with Little Chrissie is just starting here now (7pm ET) on MSNBC...

Oops, I just checked my TV on-screen guide... There is another "Hardball" on at 5:30. I wasn't even aware of that. Darn, it looks like I missed Kristinn... :-(

Sorry I didn't catch your post in time... I've been offline a couple of days.

These Generals seems to have faulty memories

They seems to forget that many of the Republican Guard put on civilian cloths and meld into the community when our troops rolled into Baghdad

The seems to forget that Saddam didn't think he would be caught .. that he could just hide out for a bit and then take back control of Iraq

Are these generals suggesting that we should have just shot at and rounded up Iraqi's without cause ???

You got that right! The President, Live taking questions from average Americans is where he shines! Let him be himself, let him do what he does best in hiw own way and he is a FANTASTIC speaker! He took that first Moonbat question in about the most polite manner possible! He answered the following questions clearly succinctly, consistently and with CONVICTION that was CLEAR!

The president needs to be doing forums like this about every other day. He has the Bully Pulpit. HE can drive the news when he is of the mind to do it. Time to use it. We got Elections coming and we need more Conservatives in Congress. Now is NOT the time to rest or coast. The fight MUST be carried out every day. Certainly the Liberals are thinking that way!

I read the whole thread and learned little. hope Kristinn will post a transcript.

I did learn:
Kristinn did good
Somebodies pissed because they didn't get top billing
Chris matthews is a child abuser that makes his kids wear Che T shirts.

Why do leftists even join the military, mystery?

So they can be conscientious objectors when it's their turn for call-up. Or, when in the field, they can release photos of mistreatment (BS) of prisoners or videos (BS) of what they claim, are of the military behaving badly.
