Yeah... those 'colds' are the kind that get me up @ 5:00AM... and make me tie the canoe on the pick-up.

Just got my Bass Pro Shops order out yesterday... mostly jigheads and some fresh, 6lb. test. I've got more different styles/color/sizes of plastic baits than you can shake a rod at.

This lake I fish has begun to show some healthy-sized crappies in it... nice ones! Ice should be out by the 1st... 2nd week of April... all I need now is my license.

Chuck Hagel insisted on ABC that we have had a civil war in Iraq for the past half year. Is he really thinking about running for 2008?

Good ones. This time around, should Hillary! win the dem primary, she will not be able to take the Listening Tour route. Americans will be doing the listening, and her voice...shudder....will drive them to vote Republican rather than have 4 YEARS of THAT.

Another thing that we tend to forget (or never knew) was that not all Americans were in favor of Independence. Neighbors were not united against the Redcoats. There were Patriots 30-35%, Loyalists 30-35%, and "moderates" aka "don't bother me with your problems" 30-35%.
