"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Tony is actually on delayed (9 am to noon) here in Seattle on 570 KVI (they also do streaming). Rush is on the other conservative talk radio station (KTTH - 770) at the same time. It would be great to have Tony on Live as I have to listen via streaming and the stream sometimes breaks up (especially during the good parts :-(
But, I don't think KVI will change the current line-up as Kirby Wilbur (a long time local) is on in the early morning slot (5-9). Kirby is great (Tony has mentioned him from time to time) and has been involved in local and national politics for years. The a.m. drive to work crowd really like Kirby and he has a large following. They like to hear him take on local issues and is also quite the historian.

I thought about getting angry with Ruth Vader Ginsburg, but honestly I wasn't surprised about her behavior. After all, Gore broke the politeness barrier by bashing the US abroad, so why shouldn't she play along?

I prefer to call it "cranky," but to explain my reaction, I took (and maybe it was a mistake) your post as expressing why the NSA Terrorist surveillance Program is constitutional, instead of taking it as a statement that there are arguments on both sides of every fact pattern.
If you were concluding that "the program" is constitutional, I stand by my snub.
Ruth "Buzzy" Ginsberg never got the grilling her record deserved when SHE was in front of the Judiciary Committee. In the old days, she would be impeached for those views. I say "Bring back the old days".

We have a similar situation at KNEW where they also have a live local show for the commute....Armstrong & Getty. If you can think of any other West Coasters in different markets, encourage them to try! I'd settle for tape delay of Tony here.....we can't even get that! ;>(

The other thing about the White House press: they don't do their homework. They are simply lazy. Considering the importance of the position, I would be embarrassed to walk into a press briefing without being 100% prepared.
