I went to one of the "unofficial" liquor stores here in Dubai this morning---the kinda store that doesn't ask for your UAE liquor license. Well, I reloaded up on Scotch and during checkout, I asked the young lady at the cash register what were their working hours. She told me they were open 24 hours a day, 365 days a week. Dubai is not your father's Arab country.
