You know what THEY are going to say, don't you? Bush is responding to the political polls and just trying to look like they are really doing something in Iraq.I was amazed to flip over to CNN and hear them using Bush's talking points. Paraphasing:
'The US is SUCCESSFULLY following it's plan to use more and more Iraqi forces as they get trained.'

I love that quote. Have you read "Appointment in Samarra" by John O'Hara? An excellent novel about self-destruction. Sort of F. Scott Fitzgerald-ish but set in the 40's.
