FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

Hello. D:>
Marvin the Paranoid Android says "Brain the size of a universe, and they wish to exchange greetings!" <--not so good an attempt to channel Marvin. >:D
I'd offer you a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster (is that the right name?), except I'm too young to be drinking. Lol :D

Wow - take a few minutes out of my day to do something other than FR and this thread goes bananas!
Mine is basic - our last name starts with "J" and we are a family so... it's been a vanity license plate, an email nick and one for here. If I'd been more creative, I would have gone with something about my ancestors. Some of them were fairly noteworthy in the history of this country and those they came from. I wouldn't have used my husband's nickname from the Navy, he can if he ever signs up. I don't have all 9 family members signed up yet but all of them do read here at least once in awhile. (All that can read, that is. The youngest two like the pictures)
Oldest daughter is registered here - Moshikashitara, my wonderfully bright and silly teen:)

Oh! That's awful, Seven! I pray that no one has been injured or worse. I wonder who did it? I'm sure our International Diva will find out for us!

Probably - but I'm already teaching myself Japanese, can more-or-less understand German, Italian, Spanish and French (though I know the last one is rather looked down upon these days!).. I really should teach myself ASL, being deaf and all. I'm interested in learning Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Gaelic, and Swedish, among others..
I pick up words rather fast - it's putting them together properly that gets to me! >:D
So what's one more language among the mess already in my head? ;)

It's called lack of imagination. I was on vacation in California, where I can be found every Thanksgiving, and before I had a laptop. Hadda share a computer with my hostess. Came in via Whitewater, per usaul, and FR said you have to register. I think I registered on the very first day. My hostess wanted her computer back...........I didn't have time to think of anything fancy, exciting, original, out of the ordinary....well, you get the idea. LOL!

I needed a cool sounding name for an On-Line Game of "Delta Force II" a few years ago. I thought of Tim Thomerson, and the name has stuck ever since.

Oh, that is the ba xi day (rice wine). Ba xi day is a miracle liquid - it is a degreaser, paint thinner, adult libation, fuel additive, decongestant, antiseptic, astringent, etc.
