FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006
Ms.Behavin

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

I was posted in the historic city of Sarajevo twice (once while in the military and once as a civilian contractor)and had a fantastic time there.

I think having to try to say or remember how to spell your name has kept me from talking to you! LOL!

A little coincidental, the thread and your meditation. My screenname ...GOD BLESS my son for keeping his "Ma" free.

Not surprisingly, has caused a number of freepers to jump to conclusions regarding who I am.
It's amusing and disturbing at the same time.

There was actually an Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect who were members of FreeRepublic IIRC, but I don't think they post here any longer.

Fun Thread!
Born in Texas.
Kidnapped by my parents screaming and crying all the way to NY. (understandable, since I was an infant)
Subjected to mind control tricks like love and affection causing me to stay there till I was 18.
Joined the USAF, spent Basic training & Tech school in TX for a year. Volunteered as an assistant scoutmaster while there and got to see and camp around the countryside of Wichita Falls. Great time!
Got to go back a year later for more tech training.
Visited again last year for my vaca and have had notions of moving back there.
I'll be there again in a couple months!
