A friend of mine took these pictures of a cougar. He lives right outside of Yellowstone, and the cougar apparently wanted to get inside of his house.
Walking into the back porch through a fenced area - 1.
Walking into the back porch through a fenced area - 2.
On the back porch and showing its fangs.
Peering into the house through the glass door.
My advice.....
SSS.....
Shoot, Shovel, Shutup.
Semper Fi
yep, he is lucky he wasn't sleeping when it broke in.
doh, it didn't break-in it was outside the house...
I'll BET your friend stayed inside!!!
If i were him, i'd start carrying a hand gun outside. :)
7.62x39, 2700 fps, hollow nose. Even better on full auto, but getting class III is troublesome. And then a good taxidermist could get it stuffed and mounted.
But, then the bear starts carrying a shotgun, so the guy moves up to a rifle, then the cougar shows up with grenades --
From there it gets ugly . . .
yep, that is pretty scarry that thing hiding under that rug, could you imagine walking outside and not noticing it siting there sheesh!
Here's yet another photo of your new neighbors, BG. Don't be mad at me though, I'm just giving you the (click here) bear facts of life in the mountains.
Onyx, you should be happy they don't have this kind of wildlife in your area.
Thanks for posting that link, East Idaho.
LOL
That's why man invented MLRS.
Ping.
The best thing to use against pesky wildlife is a flamethrower- animals do not advance towards fire, but run away from it.
My heart is racing just thinking about it.
[Thanks to LucyT for the ping!]
Now that's a man's cat!
I'm wondering if somebody's fed it before, which is why it's approaching the house and looking through the door?
Lainie, this is Big Bear here, too...in a house...having dinner...while the owner was sleeping...
