Welcome to the Canteen!
The Canteen's Mission is to provide support in whatever capacity we can for our Troops, Veterans, their family members, and anyone that helps our Troops!
If this sounds good to you, come join the fun!!
Please keep the politics for politicians!

If you like a particular song from one of our Deejays, please write to them personally to ask permission. We are also not an MP3 download site. If you are finding via one of those search engines, we will ban you. If you are a FReeper and taking our music elsewhere, we're going to have issues. Please don't go there. We've done this before and most of you know what this is about. If not, what we are basically doing is playing the same song but sung by different artists. Enjoy! There are a lot of remakes and if you find we didn't feature one, you can always request it.

I've probably asked for this before out here.
There was a song ..."By the Rivers of Babylon"...something like that...From the Psalms actually...
I know that there is a more recent version that my son likes, but I prefer the older version...from way back in time, back from the 1970s. I downloaded it from Napster a few years ago, and the my hard drive crashed, Then my snow blower died, and then lawn blower needed a new plug, and then,,,,,blah blah blah....
I'd like to show it to him, or well ,,,link it to him. It is tough even still these days to actually "show" music to anyone at all.
Do you know the song that I am talking about?
