So, the F-16s were sold to UAE during the Clinton administration and now Clinton supports the DPW deal. As well, he has enjoyed some monetary profit from speaking engagements in Dubai and possibly other business dealings. Hmmmm.....

May I address one more thing? Bush's weakness/popularity.

Bush is "weak" now because his popularity has fallen.

He was elected 51-48% or whatever.

So do you think anyone that voted against Bush on 2004 has EVER had a favorable opinion of him in these polls? Of course not.

So he was NEVER going to get about 50% approval in these polls...ever.

So how did he get to 40%? 34%???? Because 1/5 to 1/4 of the CONSERVATIVES have been voting their "disapproval" in the polls.

Yeah great. So the BushBorgs have finally gotten their blood, and they're going to take Bush down because he didn't spend trillions on a border wall.

Now Congresscritters scatter from Bush, Frist etal turn their daggers on him while he's "weak" and the true leftists are just hanging in the wings letting the divided house fall to them.

And the entire reason the GOP is in chaos is because...., let me guess, that's riiiight "BUSH'S FAULT!!!" Where have I heard that before?

I missed the part in your sermon about how closing the Mexican border or rejecting the UAE deal (or Cosco Long Beach deal back then) would've saved a single life on 9/11. So here's my sermon.

What in heavens name are you talking about? You have no idea what routes terrorists will take to gain entry to this country to do their damage in the future. According to your "logic", we shouldn't even bother to protect our borders or our ports, as it won't make any difference anyway. Of course you don't know this at all as you don't know what method the terrorists will next use. According to your comment, nothing we do (or would have done), will prevent another 9/11, so don't do anything. Sorry, I prefer we protect our borders as best we can, and the same with our ports, public transportation, nuclear plants, etc. etc. To not do so would be foolish in the extreme.

Good. Then we can stop this nonsense of pretending that Islam is our friend. Ann Coulter had it right when just after 9/11 she said that we need to kill their leaders, destroy their cities and convert the rest.

Democracy will succeed in Iraq. I'm sure of it. But only for a while.

Eventually, the parasitical nature of Islam will drag them back into barbarism (just look at Turkey or what happened in the past after Islam ruled an area for a century or so). And when it happens, they'll have the ability to kill tens of millions of us (since Western technology will many times more deadly than it is today and they'll have access to it). Our grandchildren will wonder why we helped them instead of crushing them when we had the chance.

It will be interesting if Bush vetoes the bill, if he can.

If he does, the Rats will say "Bush cut funding to the troops to let a Taliban suporting nation be in charge of US ports".

ugly slimey ads, but they would come. Bush may say F them and veto the bill anyway. That's his personality.

It's not only inexcusable, it's total hypocrisy. They have been lecturing the Rats for 4+ years about tinkering with our troops money but then they go pull the same stunt. Our CIC will not veto the bill because he respects our troops more than these political hacks but if these idiots had any decency they would not have made the President make this a choice.

Bush will always pick the troops over a political game even if it's considered a loss for him.

"You're GD right he has.
I missed the part in your sermon about how closing the Mexican border or rejecting the UAE deal (or Cosco Long Beach deal back then) would've saved a single life on 9/11. So here's my sermon.
I do note that the NSA wiretapping thing might've helped.
Yes indeed. The UNC terrorist was in the US legally. The Lodi terrorists: not illegal immigrants. The NYE plot from Canada: legal immigration. The 9/11 terrorists, on good Visas. Did not come through the Mexican border.
So.. George Bush sits in the oval office thinking that spending money on NSA surveillance programs to catch ALL of the criminals, not just the Mexicans is a pretty damn good deal.
Or we could spend it on your infantile concept of a "wall", waste troops to sit on their duff, and strangle the entire US economy."

Is this a joke? President Bush is helping us by allowing illegals to flood our country? He is helping us by spending and spending and spending and spending and spending on everything and every pork project that can be imagined but not equiping and properly manning our U.S. border patrol? He is helping us by having U.S. troops guard Iraq's false borders and ignoring are own? The billions that all the states have to pay for education, health care and welfare programs to illegals helps us? We shouldn't have a fence/wall?

Are you 100% sure you're a conservative republican?

The only blunder on the port deal is coming from those who are speaking out against it in ignorance. I don't use that word lightly....but those who are emoting (complete with hand wringing) over the UAE renting terminals don't understand the issue.
