Welcome to the Canteen!
The Canteen's Mission is to provide support in whatever capacity we can for our Troops, Veterans, their family members, and anyone that helps our Troops! If this sounds good to you, come join the fun!! Please keep the politics for politicians!________________________________ Tonight we celebrate the 3rd birthday of the Canteen Music Dedication/ Saturday Night Jukebox/ Music Mayhem as a thread. If you are finding via one of those search engines, we will ban you. If you are a FReeper and taking our music elsewhere, we're going to have issues. Please don't go there. Had to be...then again, I've seen some stuff those guys pull off in the Herky Bird.
I was hunting in a slot canyon, heard the roar of those engines, and looked out across the canyon as that bad boy roared down the slot standing on a wingtip...he looked for all the world like I could reach out and touch him.

An Assault Landing. Turn Around and Take Off from a cleared deck.
Just because Lockheed wanted to prove the Herk could land and take off from a Carrier (USS. Hornet).
