The betrayal of America
The Augusta Free Press ^ | February 20, 2006 | Max Friedman

Posted on 02/28/2006 3:36:19 PM PST by EveningStar

This column is a rant, not a soft, cuddly piece of fluff opinion. It is going to tell the truth like you have never heard it before. To quote Jack Nicholson from the movie "A Few Good Men" - "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth" - but I'm going to give it to you anyway.

So, as your mother used to do to those of you readers who are old enough to remember, hold your nose and take your medicine, because the doctor is in, and he's operating with a chainsaw.

After 35 years in the news/journalism business, from D.C. to Vietnam, I can honestly say that most of the leading Democratic Party politicians and their far-left support groups are traitors to this country. Besides the few who are deceased or out of office, today's DP is loaded with leaders who have sold out this country to the communists, to the Islamofascists and to their egos. Others are just plain stupid, addle-brained and knee-jerk jerks.

(I'll get to the Republicans in a minute)...

You and I come from the same generation BTW. :)

I'm 35 years old, my grandparents are in their 80's.

Then it is up to you friend, to replenish your tank. This is the battle we do here and we are responsible for taking care of ourselves.

FWIW, while this latest episode isn't great, I don't tend to associate long term damage with it. For one thing the week in and week out "scandal of the week" propagated by the RATS and their media shills are having an opposite effect. But barring unforeseen developments I think this too will blow over, after enough face is saved by spineless and traitorous congresscritters.

Meanwhile, we continue to fight the good fight.

Regards.

Hey friend glad you caught it. I just typed in those names I thought would enjoy it and hoping it wouldn't be a repeat PING.

Hey you know how to pick them, your beloved would be in good company.

And don't forget Durant, who wrote the WHITEWASH columns about the USSR and Stalin, for the N.Y. Times and got a "Pulitzer" for it, yet.

"Hell, it went unnoticed by FReepers for over a week."

Wellll, it did put almost every Republican in any sort of responsible position, into what could be only considered as a very bad light. As amatter of fact I've went through 100 response and not found one mention of GOP misfeasance or just plain ineptitude.

The material this gentleman apeaks of, has been around for decades and not been mentioned by any republicans. The MSM, I can understand, but not one Republican seems to have ever wanted to take the Dems to task for what could rather easily be called treason.

>>"The Republican leadership in both the House and Senate should resign immediately because they are ineffective, incompetent, stupid and clueless as to what needs to be done to protect this country, to fix internal problems quickly and rationally, and they have no backbone for a fight with the Demonrats."<<

Johnnie, I cannot believe that you support Max in this rant. Wow!
