Tony Snow is back and better than ever! Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:
Sensible People Object
What does it mean when sensible politicians like Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA), and Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) object to the port deal? Tony takes a close look.
Bush Comes Down Hard
The President came out strong on the port issue, saying he would veto any legislation to block the port deal. The President's protected us before; should we trust him this time?
So What's Really Going On at the Ports?
Intrepid reporter Griff Jenkins went on a tour of the Port of Baltimore, one of the ports slated to have its operations transferred to Dubai Ports World, to find out exactly what goes on there.

All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
OK I have one.
Ask her if the beginning of Can't You Hear Me Knocking wouldn't be an excellent bumper? It and the beginning of The Ocean are the two best riffs ever!
Our tastes are so similar.
Merger first announced at the end of October. What took the naysayers so long? Good question. This is starting to remind me of the cartoon rent-a-riots.
Well, *I* don't object to your being on WKRC, but the Fox feed is okay now should you wish to switch back.
"Let not your heart be troubled" Bush is still in charge.
Me too...it's being over-played. Tony is a voice of reason on this subject!
I don't know, I switched over to WKRC so I didn't miss any of the show.
LOTTERY ALERT!!
Winning lottery ticket bought by group of Vietnamese workers from Con Agra plant in Lincoln. None speak English.
Just heard on KKAR station in Omaha
Oooo...glad I saw your post, RP...Tony just sounds better on Fox! Going there now!
Not that I'd ever watch Idol...or Dancing With The Stars!
Unbelievable.
Thanks...and ultimately when it comes to W's judgement on National Security, I trust him implicitly and explicitly. He said 9/11 changed him and I would never believe he would compromise this country's security.
PB, To be blunt, no. They are supporters of the Pres. and I doubt they are as aware of the deal as those of you on Free Republic.
If what Tony is saying is correct, than the Administration should have laid the groundwork for this deal by saying it was a sop to a new Arab ally. [At least it wasn't the
Taliban.]
Let not your heart be troubled" Bush is still in charge.
Thank God we have W in the White House and not a lot of freepers and conservative talk show hosts....
LOL, No Comment! :)
How do we know is was a sop and not the best of a bad lot? How many companies bid, anyone know? Anyone know who the others were?
If you are still listening Mo, this is the damage I was worrying about yesterday. Message to Arabs: "Yes, we really hate you, always and forever, and will do harm to you given the chance." (I'll keep my personal feelings to myself.)
OK, I've got the Fox feed now. ;)
Hugh Hewitt is against.
I do too...and it sounds great! None of those regional commercials that drive me nuts!
