Tony Snow is back and better than ever!  Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:

Sensible People Object
What does it mean when sensible politicians like Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA), and Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) object to the port deal? Tony takes a close look.

Bush Comes Down Hard
The President came out strong on the port issue, saying he would veto any legislation to block the port deal. The President's protected us before; should we trust him this time?

So What's Really Going On at the Ports?
Intrepid reporter Griff Jenkins went on a tour of the Port of Baltimore, one of the ports slated to have its operations transferred to Dubai Ports World, to find out exactly what goes on there.

You can find out more information about the line-up, stream Tony's show, find local radio stations as well as other fun stuff off his website.

CLICK HERE and follow the "Listen Live" link to stream the show which runs from 9 AM est to noon.

moongriffon.com streams the show every day from 3:00 to 6:00 PM (EDT).

WKRC airs Tony’s show on the web from 9-12 EST. Another way to hear Tony’s show is by streaming it at 7pm

To call the show and talk to Tony dial: 1.866.408.SNOW

And there's more!

Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later.

If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request.
All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Exactly, Shumer went off half cocked and he is not the only one who has gone off half cocked. I have no problem with debate but the constant "lets lynch Bush" mob and chicken hawks and chicken littles is just to much.

Chuckie is not being hypocritical...he will be on the opposite side of George W. Bush on whatever issue there is. I guarantee if GW were to change his position on this because he found that it was the wrong one, Chuckie would change sides, too, and want those ports under Arab control! He is a Bush-basher first, last and always!

For me it is a big deal when the Republican Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee expresses concern, not in the results but in how the decision was reached.

I am not comforted by Michael Chertoff's assurances, because he gave us the same assurances about FEMA during hurricane Katrina. I am not comforted by assurances from Sect. Snow [not our own] who unlike his predecessor NEVER disagrees with Pres. Bush. I am not comforted by Pres. Bush threatening the veto before the discussion reached that level. [Why didn't he threaten the veto to stave off the extravagant spending in Congress.]

Why engage an ignorant Troll who substitutes facts for guilt by association "poetry"? Just let her go play in the traffic.

You're right...Tony's got a better view of it; I just fear that the DUmmies are playing on our fears not knowing what really happens. I promised myself today I was going to stop. I need to try harder.

So basically what Congress is trying to do is stick it's big nose into a private business deal, and in the process dictate to the President which nations we will cooperate with.

Great.

Yes she has, and I have no clue why because she is so consistently dumb.

"Feinstein: Ports 'ought to be governmentally operated'"

And since no US company has the competency to operate ports now, who are they going to get to do this? Are they going to send a bunch of people to Dubai, Singapore, Japan, or China to get trained (I may not have the countries right, but I know only a handful of companies in the world do port operations - the Brits won't even be doing it any more)?

How large is this new government bureacracy going to be?

How much money in tax dollars will this cost the American people?

Since Americans don't have any experience in this, my guess is that this new dept, like most start-ups, will loose $$s for a number of years, how much and how long?

That's right...Congress is going to interrupt a business transaction, and get into Executive Authority.
