LizardLover228 (StarCMC's oldest son)
Posted on 02/21/2006 6:04:21 PM PST by MoJo2001
Hi! My FReepername is LizardLover228 and I am the son of StarCMC! First, I want to tell everyone in the military to keep on doing good even when it is tough. Thank you for fighting for us!
Today I want to talk about riding motorcycles in the woods. This is one of my hobbies. I have learned a lot from my dad.
One of my biggest tips is to always stand up in the jumps and in hill bottoms. This lowers your center of gravity and make the bike more stable. This is me and my motorcycle, a Honda 2002 80cc 4-stroke.
Here are some links to some cool motorcycle racing sites:
My favorite motorcycle rider is James "Bubba" Stewart. He is really fast and good. He rides in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross races.
I hope you have enjoyed my thread today. If you have any riding tips I would love to hear about them. |

Hmmm.....your yoke of the day sure sounds like something bentfeather would pull.
I wonder if she uses a laptop and satellite internet connection so that she can post from an additional 10 miles away from home each day.

It is good to hear from him! I told him he'd better call me on my birthday and he said he'd be home by then. WOOHOO!!!! I got an e-mail from his wifey and she is missing him like crazy! Bless their hearts. I have been there...I know how lonely it gets.

Awwww...you've been on vacation and I didn't even know it. I hope it has been a lot of fun. I am ready for one myself. I have Friday through Monday off this coming weekend and I can't think of anywhere to go. That bums me out to have time off and having to stay at home! What a waste! LOL!

That was a neat bike. I remember it well. Back then, two stroke dirt bikes were the order of the day . . .
I can remeber being at a local hillclimb, watching riders go at it with all manner of bikes. Nobody could get past 2/3 the way up. Along comes this guy on that very bike. We all laughed as he lined up at the bottom of the hill. We stopped laughing when he blasted by the 2/3 point and continued up and over the top of the hill. Nobody else even came close.

Mornin' lady! (((hugs)))
He is doing great, but is very ready to get back home. He will only have been gone for 2 months, but time really drags out there. The ship is small and there's not that much to do. Thank goodness, he takes lots of books and they have videos and an exercise room. The food is excellent, too. They can't get mail...the ship is too small for a chopper to land on...and he can't use his private e-mail account, so the only one he hears from is wifey..which is the way it should be.

This was my
ride in 1972.
Steel fenders!
Ugh . . .
To: BraveMan
Great story, thanks!
I had a over sized fiber compound gas tank, a less restrictive exhaust and a few less teeth on the drive sprocket. I loved it. The only two bikes I remember ever giving me a hard time in the hilly backwoods west of the base was the Elsinore (125 2 stroke screamer) and (I think it was) the 400 Yamaha 4 stroke.
Nowadays we both need our Electraglides just to maintain or dignity and have a place to store our reading glasses! :-)
To: BraveMan; blackie
Metal fenders!! rofl!!
Surprisingly, they didn't crunch nearly as much as you would imagine. But just enough to hit you on the wrong payday for a new one.
To: LUV W
LOL.
I am enjoying my vacation at home, because I get to do what ever I want and I don't have to deal crowds.;)
