Whatever you do, watch the rerun of Hannity & Colmes tonight. They are discussing the City of San Fransciscos declining to accept the U.S.S. Iowa as a memorial.
Democrats on parade! The person interviewed (a democRAT) claimed the United States should have NO MILITARY!
Even Allen disagreed with this person.

Every culture needs a place to house the immature, the bums and scoundrels, the mentally disturbed and insane. SF serves that purpose for America, IMO.

It was really good and I immediately wondered if it had been mentioned at all in various threads.
Alan was mad because this Elected Democrat was really reinforcing the stereotype of Democrats being weak on security and anti-military. Even though it is true, to actually hear one of them come out and say it is quite refreshing.
I look forward to debating some of his great initiatives with my liberal friends. Having local Police forces defend our shores was my favorite.

By virtue of where we live -- less than an hour South of San Fransicko --- we are frequently asked to take house guests or visiting family into the "city"...
We have rules....we don't spend money...
If unavoidable, we use carefully selected and self cleaned restroom facilities..
We don't buy souvenirs, we don't pay admissions...
(Exception made to board the Submarine)
On a couple of occasions - we did pay the fare to take insistent guests out to Alcatraz.
The only other outlay of cash, is for the toll bridge, bus and cable car rides. CHEAP.
We take all drinks, snacks, sandwiches, fruit, etc... with us in a cooler..
We plan to arrive in the city early after having a robust breakfast at home.....
We park free and take cable car or bus to the typical "tourist spots" that must be seen by foot...
We do those spots first.... and return to the car.
Then We go across the Golden Gate Bridge to a nice area to have our "picnic" late lunch.....
Then we finish up with the scenic 49 mile drive around the city....
Then back to our neighborhood for dinner.... in a clean, safe restaurant where the folks know us by name...

To make things even worse, I had just got done watching the diabribe by a gay US male figure skater badmouthing the Republican way of thinking on the Olympic channel. And this person was representing the U.S.? Unreal!

When the thing called "Gerardo Sandoval" stepped into that cow-patty of
insane pacifism on live national television...
I bet Hannity's brain was screaming "THANK YOU G-D!!!" and the FOX News producers
were dancing a rapturous victory dance!!!
Talk about the number of promos/commercials that this will give FOX.

I bet Hannity wanted to punch the guy in the face to see if he'd defend himself or roll over and beg for mercy.I doubdt Hannity can even understand the function of our military; other than parroting El Rushbo.

If we could convince Pat Robertson to move there and start converting people in the Castro district, will they leave? Like, say, to Paris?
We can always hope. :)

What did you do, turn the channel, have a drink, or both?I'm not much of a drinker, but a cold beer sure hit the spot after that! Oh, and no, I left it on FOX. :)
