I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.
In Jesus's name - Amen.

Yes!
(AP) WASHINGTON The man shot by Vice President Dick Cheney has shown signs of having suffered a heart attack due to his wounded, medical doctors said Tuesday.
Per NBC:
Doctors in Texas say some of the birdshot that Vice President Cheney accidentally fired at a fellow hunter over the weekend has lodged in the man's heart, causing a minor heart attack.
Doctors say Harry Whittington is still in stable condition, and that he showed no chest pain or other signs of a heart attack. They say they have been watching for movement of the birdshot within the body of the 78-year-old man.
The man shot by Vice President Dick Cheney experienced a heart irregularity after birdshot moved into his heart.

That feisty ER Chief got right back in the face of the mediots. "What about infection?"
Doc: "So--WHAT ABOUT INFECTION? (thinking to himself--you idiot moron). If it happens, we'll deal with it appropriately, (you braindead piece of crap)".
Thank you, you're right, but I was having him tell me in layman's terms and I can't correctly spell most medical words.

Fox News is really getting bad. When this story first broke on Sunday, they had a Fox News Alert every 5 minutes.
I use "presser" instead of having to type press conference...
What are you talking about? I stated the obvious.
Suzanne Malveaux is a gool on CNN!
I like it when they go wild; it will turn MORE people against them.
I don't imagine those doctors are use to being treated like that. They'll surely tell their friends.
Thanks. I didn't realize it went so far back. A "trade" term that has just recently become popular with the rest of us, perhaps.
Juliet has never been an intelligent person. I'm trying to be polite here. I've never understood why Fox didn't fire her years ago.
Whittington's been fighting eminent domain in Austin

Gee, maybe today Dayside will "demonstrate" a heart attack!
It didn't help that The Smoking Gun.com published his Austin address and phone #!
Yeah, I don't see that happening. 9/11 couldn't keep these people from blaming Bush for it. You think one old guy dying is going to embarrass them?
It's the size of the shot, not the gauge of the round. You could have a 28 gauge rifled slug, which would be as big around as your fingertip. This was very small #9 shot, and your hubby was correct on the size.
That it wasn't a typical heart attack that an average joe would think of
That it is a medical term they use in cases were there is an irritation to the heart area
They are keeping him for 7 days to just keep an eye on him
