The Rasmussen Polls have Crist leading Davis, 42-37.
Gallagher leads Davis, 44-34. Even though Crist will try to milk his support for Jessica's law, Tom Gallagher is the stronger candidate for the general election.

I am starting a Crist blooper list for 2006. He's already stuck his foot in his mouth in Tampa Bay: CRIST BLOOPER #1.
2-16-06 Crist was on www.baynews9.com, a presser on scene yesterday from The Long Shadow Inn Assisted Living facility. It's obvious that Fla AG Crist libeled the facility and today in the Tampa Tribune, the owner of the AL is asking for an apology. There is no comment from Crist's office.
Even a smart senior went on baynews9 and said that Crist was lying and that it was a marvelous AL.
Crist will make things up to get on tv.

Nelson has been doing the full court Conservative press lately, but it won't help him. His problem is his voting record to date.
It's an insight to his soul my friend...it will be his undoing.
Any Republican can beat him...we outnumber the Dems and they know it.

So electing big government Republicans is practical? In Washington's case he was practical enough to SACRIFICE his career to end an over bearing government. Too bad many sacrifice basic conservative principals so they can get moderates elected.
Buchanan is a nut, isolationist I am not. I await your next smear.
Harris is a moderate. Single issue my behind. Look here and see all her innuendos for collectivism.
http://www.electharris.org/issues/
And the GOP spends like crazy which enhances an even bigger bureaucracy.
By the way, are those tax cuts permanent yet? What about curbing big government? "But those mean democrats are filibustering". Why hasn't Frist brought the mattresses out? Afraid those votes for benefits might dry up?

We are fighting while funding Islamofascism at the same time thanks to policies Harris fights for.
I hold my nose and vote against democrats (By voting for Repubs) but I am at my own breaking point just looking at the spending by Republicans have produced.
Also using the Court and tax cuts as blackmail to support Republicans is not a very assuring way a promoting republicans.
How about scrapping the current tax code and reining in the power of the US Courts (Article III, Section 2, clause 2 of the US Constitution) and impeaching judges, eh.

So electing big government Republicans is practical? I never said that but thanks for admitting that you were wrong about the founding fathers.
Too bad many sacrifice basic conservative principals so they can get moderates elected.
I guess they were never conservative in the first place. Kind of like freepers who claim they might vote for a ultra-liberal horses butt like Nelson instead of the republican candidate.
Buchanan is a nut, isolationist I am not.
Yes he is but even Pat wouldn't vote for a slug like Neslon. You might.
Harris is a moderate.
Sure. I guess that's why the ACU gave her a rating of "92" in 2004. Bill Nelson, on the other hand, received a whopping "4" from the ACU.
And you might vote for this guy?
By the way, are those tax cuts permanent yet? What about curbing big government? "But those mean democrats are filibustering". Why hasn't Frist brought the mattresses out? Afraid those votes for benefits might dry up?
And an ultra-liberal (more liberal than Hillary) will deliver on these issues for conservatives better than Harris? That's pretty nutty. But you go ahead and wring your hands over who to vote for. I know it must be hard for you to tell the difference between "4" and "92".
Good luck with that third party.

An overall rating of 90% looks good on paper (Gun control, tax cuts, pro business) but looking at the issues she voted against the ACU recommendations tells me she likes to use federal funds for her pet projects. Hence a moderate/conservative.
Seems the Senate is filled with them already, why do we need another pork ridden politician?
Also as long as Harris supports policies of envirowackos she will always be a moderate. How can a free market conservative support legislation to lock up the gathering of natural resources forever? Harris should side with conservation, not extremism.
You never did explain this page.
http://www.electharris.org/issues/
Preserving SS, wealth distribution, increase funding for an already bloated educational system, siding with environmentalist extremist etc... all screams moderate.
I would never vote for Nelson. Like I said I might vote for Harris but she is not for limited government and energy dependence even though she agrees to drill in ANOTHER state. Pretty gutless if you ask me but like you believe, must sacrifice principles, which means succumbing to more spending and envirowackism so we can "win".

Trash is someone who claims to be voting on principle, then votes to actually hurt the principle he/she claims to be so rabidly in support of.

Since when has Senate Republicans shown any principles with regards to LIMITING government? The only principles I see are allowing weak filibusters to occur and perpetuating the status quo.
Nelson/Harris of course Harris would be better but she will be more of the same when I look at her ideology. Claiming she will be a fiscal conservative is wrong. All I am saying is Republicans should elect those who actually press hard issues and persuade rather than pander to the votes for benefits electorate.

I should be a world-famous author published many times over. I should have a line gorgeous women waiting outside my door, as my wife gives me full control of the TV remote.
When all those things fall into place, perhaps then I'll start looking for a perfect politician.
