Nevertheless, Hillary's ascendancy can be overcome.

Great. Let's get it done.

"How to beat Hillary in 2008"

Do nothing - she and the Dems will beat themselves just like they've done since 1994...

If all else fails, send her on a hunting trip with Dick Cheney :-)

How to beat Hillary in 2008

Let the people hear her position and thinking, hear her shrill voice and not hide behind her being female as a reason to not answer questions and she will sink like a rock.

We also need to make lots of Internet commercials about all the ridiculous stuff she has tried and said. We also have to do a commercial about how her husband gave China rocket and guidance technology for their nuclear missiles to shoot us. Seems no one would want the wife of a guy who put the country in grave danger to become President to carry out other obscenities.

How else would little-known Bill Clinton have emerged as the Democratic frontrunner in 1992

The media propped Bubba's @ss up. Jerry Brown and Paul Tsongas were both eating his lunch.

I don't know about all Republicans looking at a Hillary! presidential candidacy with increasing unease, but one thing the GOP needs to do is run campaign ads focusing on her shrill shrieking when she speaks in public and make sure that people hear her and realize that she is in no way, shape or form, moderate, but an advocate of socialism.

I don't think that Americans are ready for a female president, but I could very well be wrong.

Many are starting to speak out against her;

Ken Bode, Jonathan Alter: Hillary Clinton a Loser. 2/11/06 NewsMax

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1576596/posts

"If the Democrats nominate her, she is a certain loser," predicts former CNNer Ken Bode -host of PBS Washington Week in Review.

Influential Newsweek columnist Jonathan Alter added his voice to the rising chorus of liberals who think Mrs. Clinton has no chance of winning the White House. He called Hillary's presidential campaign a "kamikaze mission.

Alter and Bode's comments echoed sentiments voice last week by New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, who trashed Hillary's presidential prospects to radioman Don Imus:

Dowd, "I think people are realizing that she's not the inevitable candidate."- also criticized Mrs. Clinton's pulpit performance at the King funeral, saying: "She shouldn't have been up there."

She is assured to win the Democratic primary,

Thats a guarantee that is very much lacking now.

Her own base has serious problems with her, every other democrat with ambitions has put a bulls eye on her back, and she has only been involved in one debate in her life and is a horrible speaker.

Her own party and the media, unintentionally, have set her up for a big fall.

The DUmmies, Daily Kos and Moveon are all becoming anti-hillary sites, with this much opposition, she is going to have to overcome a bloody primary which will bring up even more dirt on her, and then, wounded, face a republican who can just pile on her from the right, while she will definatly face a 3rd party greenie who will pile on her from the left.

One would think she would take classes on how to improve her appeal.

Oh, but she has. And what you see is the result of a tremendous amount of appeal improvement.

Her vulnerability isn't her lack of charisma. That can be overcome by a skillful politician, see Richard Nixon.

No, her vulnerability is that, at heart, she is a viciously anti-American leftist. She hides it, she denies it, she pretends to be otherwise. It is a problem, though, that can't be overcome in a general election (hey, even John Kerry can win in a liberal state, as she did in New York, but the country isn't New York). Her chief vulnerability, and the reason she will lose, is that this fact can be proven endlessly and shoved down her liberal throat.

Gephardt ran against Dukakis in 1988. He didn't run against Clinton in 1992. Does this lady know anything about politics?

Hillary won't be the candidate in 2008. I am betting on a Warner/Feingold ticket. Hillary is a red herring, nothing more, nothing less.

...Hillary's ascendancy can be overcome. She is assured to win the Democratic primary, but will have problems winning the general election. Her principal weakness:

Her principal weakness is -her [and bill's] devastating Chinagate treason:

If they run her as the candidate, they lose. They know this. They won't run her past the primaries. Maybe they'll nominate her for veep, though. That's the only way.
