What is it that makes Democrats incapable of controlling their hostility, even during funerals?
Especially during funerals.
Rush Limbaugh just played a clip of todays Wellstone Funeral moment from Rev. Joseph Lowry in which he raised the issue of weapons of mass destruction in the Coretta Scott King funeral, then talked about how not enough money is going to the poor.
I know I have seen figures that indicate that Bush has spent more on some programs for the poor than Clinton did, but it wouldnt matter if he had spent ten times more.
Facts dont matter.
This is pure theater, folks.
Can you imagine how the media would have reported a Republican using the Reagan funeral to make the point that Democrats were wrong about communism and that they are just as wrong on terrorism?
Fortunately we have a President with more class in his little finger than the entire Democrat party.
Following the Lowry comments, Bush gave him a hug.

I just had an idea. What if they REALLY don't think they are getting their message across? And they are using the TV for this purpose when they can? Think about this weakness.
If they don't control the flow of information anymore are they making a point to an increasingly negative limit of supporters?
Like with the fraction 1/x. As x approaches infinity, the value of 1/x approaches zero. Over 500 years old and still works today.
After I meet Jesus, I'm going to bring a bottle of wine to Isaac Newton's place and have a talk about putting relationships into math equations. Maybe Pascal and the rest can stop by also.
Little ronnie is an idiot.
Maybe he will grow up in the next 30 years.
IMHO it was a sickening display of politics at the funeral of a very respected lady.
"Little ronnie is an idiot....Maybe he will grow up in the next 30 years"
frankly, I think he's too arrogant to ever grow up
I heard on Hanity's radio show how ugly this got. I just don't understand the double standard. Can anyone imagine what would happen if Repubs made a public funeral/memorial service into that type of spectical? Of course, MOST Repubs know better and have more dignity.
But for a former President (using the term only in the technical sense) using the pulpit to directly (if thinly vailed) attack the sitting President, I have a really big problem with that. But I guess it's only the Democrats who are allowed to do such.
And then for Lowry or whatever the jerk's name is - such blatant disregard for both the setting, and for respect of the departed and those present, decided it was a good time to blast the President adn then to basically dump all of societies woes in GW's lap.
When did funerals and memorial services become pep-rally's for liberals? Sickening. Did Mrs. King support such trash?
n.
1. One who delights in the revolting, morbid, or loathsome.
The reason is because liberals are sympathy whores.
"Please tell Jimmy that it was JFK and RFK who authorized the wiretaps of MLK."
It wouldn't do any good. Jimmy is too corrupt and vile behind his facade of pious ex president.
Thanks!
Their nastiness during the Clarence Thomas hearings changed my mind....I left the Democratic party when I saw how they (and their worshippers in the media) behaved.
Carter is the world's only self-canonized saint.
Bingo!!!
Let them continue with their behavior. They are sealing their own fate.
Actually, they have a lot of class. It's just all low.
Someone might have already mentioned it but I thought the most tasteless and tacky one of all was at Ronald Reagan's funeral where Ronnie couldn't resist his one and only moment in the spotlight and trashed Bush. Good night! It's your own dad's funeral dude! Show some class.
A remarkable element of this is that we as a society like to remember Dr. King as a man of conciliation "among all people, regardless of their race, color or creed". Yet, at his wife's funeral, Lowery and Carter can trample that memory with their bombastic, divisive rhetoric. What a shame.
Lando
little ronnie junior is tasteless and tacky.
