"Thousands Remember Coretta Scott King" ---------- I was watching Fox News and they showed Jimmy Carter speaking at Coretta Scott King's funeral, and sure enough, he started talking about illegal wire-tapping and other examples of government run amok. I am appalled that he would use this opportunity to bash the President, but not really surprised. :-(

These people are beyond disgust. Carter, for a so-called Christian, is one of the meanest, pettiest people I've ever seen--- Being such a WISE Christian you'd think he'd read the part that speaks of "a proper time for everything"????
What gurgling hose bag.

Carter once again proved that he has NO class, No brains and NO respect. What a total looser that guy is..WORST president EVER
To: binkdeville
Someone, George Will I think, said that Carter is a modest man and that he has much to be modest about.

The Coretta Scott King political rally was no different than the Paul Wellstone political rally. And really - - did anyone expect anything different from the Democrats? Grace and dignity, for example? A little bit of respect and decorum? Heh. . . . Of course not.
What we saw today was exactly what everybody expected from the Democrats. Anybody who was surprised by today's abhorrent display has been living in a cave. Like my Dad always said, "Class will tell."

Very like the Paul Wellstone memorial service. At least that was just a memorial service so some of the Republican notables in attendance could get up and walk out.

These people fail to see that when they gratutiously insult the President they insult this country by concomitance.

Love the joker card!
Anyone notice when Jimmy talks, his lips nor mouth move?

I personally don't think Carter was ignorant of that rather significant fact. Like all Democrats he just thinks Americans have rather short memories, like the memory of his having presided over one of, if not THE worst presidency in the last century. You can bet your next paycheck that he'd like nothing more than Americans to not remember the disastrous Iranian Hostage crisis, the oil embargo, and the double-digit inflation and interest rates that impeded average Americans from buying decent homes.
Carter, along with Joseph Lowery, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Slick Willie and the other DemocRAT sycophants turned what could have been a touching tribute to a courageous woman into another Wellstone fund raiser/rally. Only President Bush and former President George H.W. Bush showed any kind of class.

Has Jimmy Carter ever gotten involved in anything that hasn't almost immediately turned into a piece of sh!t?
Name it:
Iran-abandoning the Shaw and spawning the growth of radical Islam
Hostage "rescue" Abysmal state of the US military during his Administration Panama Canal give away
US Economy (what a nightmare)
North Korean "agreement" on nuclear power...now aimed at us!
"Validation" of the election fraud in Venezuela
I could go on...buy why...?

No rational thinking person actually believes democrats [sic] would mass exterminate conservatives. I'm not talking about Democrats, and you know it, so don't misrepresent my position in a lame attempt to back out of a debate you're losing. My comment was about the folks over at DU. I said, "they would gas us, if they could," to which you agreed. Are you irrational, or just confused about the content of your own posts?
Now go over there chum, and read what they post if you don't believe me.

Let's not forget also, though not as well-known, he helped bring Robert Mugabe to power in the former Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) back in 1979 when he turned his back on the former Rhodesian PM Ian Smith. All you need proof is to look at the morassic mess that Zimbabwe is now, with all of the stealing of the white-owned farms and the terrorism aimed at Mugabe's opponents.
