"Thousands Remember Coretta Scott King" ---------- I was watching Fox News and they showed Jimmy Carter speaking at Coretta Scott King's funeral, and sure enough, he started talking about illegal wire-tapping and other examples of government run amok. I am appalled that he would use this opportunity to bash the President, but not really surprised. :-(

It comes as no surprise when jimmy does something sleazy. I would be stunned if ever he *praised* GWB for something, or actually took America's side! Now that would be ground breaking news.

She always comes off this way when she attempts to speak on spiritual matters.Her speech was done by a speach writer who just did a word search on Bible qoutations.Bill on the other hand has a passing familiarity with scripture.

They did the same thing at Rosa Parks funeral here in Detroit. Speaker after speaker used the pulpit to trash the president. These dems are absolutely despicable. Can you imageine the uproar if Republicans had used any funerals in the 90s to trash President White Trash?

Because some people in attendance and speaking are trash does not take away from the good people who show respect in the Church.
Two observations. First off, if you watch any interview with Jimmuh, he has deluded himself into thinking he was winning the 1980 election and only lost because of bad debate timing, i.e. agreeing to debate Ronaldus Magnus too cloose to the elctions. Thus, everytime he goes to the podium or gives an interview, he does so under the assumption that everyone truly loves him and has forgotten what a lousy president he was. Hey Jimmuh, build a house, put on a sweater and STFU!!!
Secondly, this was a perfect display of how the Clinton charm is not inherited by virtue of marriage. Bill, for all his faults, has charisma. Hillary has NONE of it. Like it or not, Bill's charisma allowed him to get away with being on three sides of every issue, i.e. "triangulation." Hill can't carry it off, she just doesn't sell well and quite frankly, is about exciting as bag of hammers.
Yes, I was expecting a flurry of boos when he had to leave, but the crowd behaved for once.
