Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan of Vacaville, given a ticket by Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-Petaluma, to attend President Bush's State of the Union address Tuesday evening, was arrested by Capitol police in the front row of the House gallery, reportedly for wearing a T-shirt with an anti-war message in violation of House rules.
Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in Iraq while serving in the Army, gained national fame in August when she camped out near Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch unsuccessfully seeking a meeting with the president. Since then she has campaigned against the war and was arrested outside the White House in September.
Woolsey gave Sheehan her lone visitor's pass for the speech earlier in the day at an anti-Bush event sponsored by the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which is co-chaired by Woolsey.
Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider said Sheehan was charged with unlawful conduct, a misdemeanor. She was taken in handcuffs to police headquarters a few blocks away and was expected to be released on her own recognizance later.

I think this little incident, and how it ended up, is further proof of how stupid Sheehan is. If she had an ounce of brains, she would have waited until the President began his speech before taking off her coat. Then, taking it off, she could have screamed something DU-ish, and have gotten escorted out of the chamber, WHILE THE TV CAMERAS WERE ROLLING.
Instead, she does this before anything even started. Cindy is a clueless idiot.
I had the most incredible venison loins in a blackberry sage reduction sauce at JA...man it was the best venison I've ever had. We paired it with a really nice Pino Noir.
Before that, we had oysters on the patio looking out over the vineyards. Like I said...how can a place so idyllic be populated by such whackjobs.

Cindy Sheehan must certainly be taking her directions from the Hollywood types that have never learned subtlty.
They think they have to slap people in the face with sex and violence and vulgar language in order to sell films. They would sell twice as many films if they left much more to the imagination.
Had Cindy Sheehan attended the SOU address and conducted herself as a grieving mother who had come to honor her son's service, she could have furthered her agenda much further than wearing a stupid tee shirt.
Ah well, guess we should be happy the left has no class, values or integrity. It makes our job easier.
The constituents who voted her in office are Liberals, and as such are genetically incapable of shame.

Personally, I found great satisfaction when I shared my feelings about her actions with this disgusting, moronic fool.
I've also emailed, FAXed and will call my CongressCritter to demand that he support any kind of censure against Woolsey should it be initiated. I also encourage him to intitiate a censure effort if no other Congressperson did so.
I'm just amazed none of the Dems gave Michael Moore a golden ticket.

Lynn Woolsey is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (Marxists) and the Democrat's Progressive (Marxist) Caucus. No surprise here.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus is an organization within the House and is made up of congress critters who are ostensibly working within the republic and its capitalist system, while their real goal is to subvert it, weakening its foundations and replacing them with the Marxist-socialist philosophy described as Progressivism.

It's obvious. Rove is charging those expenses to his Halliburton expense account. :)
The Capitol guards should put up a pair of ropeline aisles - one directly to Stark's desk in the House, and the other to his Hill office, and let it be known on the bad streets of Washington that these are "law enforcement free zones".
Wonder how many times Stark and his staffers would have to get robbed and assaulted before they cried "uncle"? ;-)
