"But what *hick* about little Billy?!?"
And me.

Joy to the world!!!!!!
WOO HOO!
Just watch how the hippies react to this tonight!!!

Bush in his effort to move the nation's highest court to the right. REUTERS/Jason Reed
Given Alito's extensive record, there is plenty of reason to be confident in his judgement.
Is too!
Beautiful. LOL
I've thanked the President, Senators...particularly Republicans since the Democrats all did so for purely political calculation but I WILL give the four some credit given the beating they chose to take for it. There are others, like Mary in LA that voted no even though her chances of re-election are iffy now at best. It did take some courage, or at least a finally surfacing survival instinct to inspire a vote FOR Alito. I was wondering when a human beings instinct to save themselves would finally kick into effect for some of these guys. I've thanked the conservatives past and present and future that have made, and will make, gains possible on the Courts. I've thanks Alito for answering the call...
I will take a moment to thank someone else. Thank you Harriet Miers. It's no secret I wasn't pleased with her nomination....But she did the right thing under uncomfortable circumstances. Most people wouldn't be able to do what she did, and following months have seemed to have shown she handled it with grace to my knowledge. I wish her the best, and thank her for helping bring about this day.
Alito gets charge of the 9th circuit? LOL This just keeps getting better.
